Not sure if there's going to be an 'Open' championship to be won but I think Nicky will do it over Aleix Espargaro. I can only hope that as the season progresses Nicky will start to battle for 4-6 in the championship.

One handed wheelies, how I've missed those.
Nice to see him enjoying himself and I hope the bike can grow to match his skills. As it is the Ducatis' should be worried. Except Dovi, of course.

Pretty certain Hayden will be in front of Dovi more often than not once he is as familiar with that new machine as he was on that Ducati.
Nicky I'm happy for ya!Dovi get yourself one of these next contract.

Yeah - I'm pretty impressed with the performance by Nicky.

He's sharing a bike. It's a new bike, new team, new bike for the team. I'll be excited to to see how far he improves the bike, for sure.

Think Nicky maybe a little closer to Dovi than some of you think, He's running a new bike with probably a loose base setting, come race day next year he'll have the setting and an extra 3 litres of fuel, the Duc can burn fuel on full taps in testing but come race day ?

Great to see Nicky on a high , he's such a top bloke who has been **** on all his career, even as a world champ he was treated as the number 2 to Pedrosa, and again at Ducati when Rossi arrived was given a lesser spec bike, would really love to see him beat some of the big names , maybe with Stoner developing the Honda it just might be a great package

@Rick180268 Totally agree with you. Nick has been shat on every year, playing second fiddle to everyone else. Let's not mention his own teammate spearing him and nearly costing him a championship. If anything he deserves Pedrosa's spot. That'd be some SWEET payback!!!!

Nah, he just dialed up 45deg on the ECU and let the electronics do the rest. The Honda is just a 200+hp Segway. :-)

Seriously though, I hope Hayden gets some good results and really enjoys his remaining time in MotoGP.

Bs. Nicky has always been a second fiddle rider in MotoGP. He's gone into teams with a bike winning races and ended up with what - 3 race wins?
A good wing man, and a world champion somehow. But not a front runner. Scott should be caning him by mid-season.

Ha ha, awesome to see Nicky having fun again! Feeling the front end must be strange for him.
He's by far the most accomplished non alien in the field. Sorry if that drives you crazy! I like Redding too, but he won't be caning Nicky . Let go of the hate, you'll feel better
