Beginning of year Kalex was definetly faster but at the end of year they were neck and neck, Sutter even stronger in some races. The "best" riders were on Kalex and that made the gap look even bigger and taking consideration that Luthi, who was top Sutter rider in before the season test, was hurt the whole year. I admit there has been couple of races where Sutter has been nowhere but I think they are pretty equal chassis nowdays.

Suter are supposed to develop a special chassis for Caterham, that is to be removed from the identikit everyone uses now - no forks, perhaps? Until they do that and said special chassis proves competitive, they will run what everybody else does.

Good job by Zarco. I was hoping for higher placing for Herrin but new track, bike, Team, et al.... 17th was not bad. When I look at last year Moto3 graduates they were way back in 20++ position so I think this bodes well for Josh. He will battle with a disadvantage in track knowledge all year and I am unsure how fast he will go once they put in the standard honda Moto2 race engine.

Please remember that many of these teams are not testing with the Moto2 approved engines, many have fitted standard or higher tuned performing supersport engines for testing. I do not know what engine Herrin & Zarco tested with...so they could be faster or slower come full up testing with honda approved kit early next year.
