@BikeWatch.

Yep. And not ONE of them supplied with a package to actually compete for a championship on.

The drought for a BritishGP winner will continue. I think ALL the riders you mention are hugely talented. I also think that the UK is a strong enough viewer market for Dorna & BTSport to want/need British riders too.

The politics and disparity in support and equipment means the only podium outside chance is Smith (if Valencia test is any indicator). Redding will be hamstrung by the limits HRC choose to impose upon his bike, & the fact that he isn't Repsol sponsored. Crutchlow can go at it 100% but needs a Ducati equipment miracle. ML & LC won't have the bikes, budget, engines or data geeks to get break out of the bottom third of the Standings.

Mushroom Grids are full, maximum is 24 until next year 26.

A lap behind the leader is good compared to the 500 days, especially with the RS triples.

Is their another championship that does not have this problem?

Wouldn't be well up on all the stats but GPs the podium seldom changes, WSB has more potential winners both bikes and riders and to me usually has better racing, the same could be said about BSB, at least private teams are in with a shout.
