I'm glad that Marc won the poll. He was the better overall by a small margin to Jorge as the vote reflected. He broke a number of long-standing records in his rookie year which alone shows that he is a special talent.

Whats next for young Marc win a raceby the biggest margin ever, win the most races in a season, have the most crashes, seriously what is gonna motivate this guy in the short tern other than taking it to Jorge and Dani.

The way I see it Rossi retires in the near future making way for Pol E, Dani and Jorge play musical chairs and swap places. Dani may get the boot after a season or two at Yam making way for Aleix in the Espagaro bros Yamaha squad and Alex Marquez gets the same treatment as Marc when Jorge wants another challenge on either the Suzuki on the Aprilia in a bid to win championships on three makes of bike.

Congrats to Marquez but I'm putting Lorenzo has no1 for my dreamteam.

@V4Poweeer
I'm hoping Yammy keep there promise and arm Brad Smith with a capable M1,the final Valencia test day showed he has the speed once given a spec bike

Worthy winner of the poll. They say that it's harder to win the 2nd one but I think that it's not impossible for Marc to achieve what many, many others could not, and that is a 'back to back' Title. We'll see and it's going to be fun watching him try.

Back to back titles happen more often in less competitive eras. Since the aliens arrived wins have been super hard to achieve, let alone titles. These days you need everything to go perfectly. Ill be impressed if Marc can go back to back but he's got the best chance that anyone has fro quite a whle. There are now only 2 other aliens to compete with, and HRC will be backing Marquez as their number 1 which Dani won't have had to deal with before. That leaves only Jorge in Marc's way, and if he was to have an injury with Miraculous Marc still bouncing off the pavement without harm then the title could easily end up in Marc's hands again, especially with the extra experience he'll have.

GRANN1EJANE: And, Desh, would Yamaha want Rossi competitive and taking points off Lorenzo?
I think it will be a two horse race.

Off course Yamaha would want Rossi competitive. They would like a Yamaha one two and Rossi in first place so they can sell more bikes (VR is much more popular with fans than JL) Besides VR has the same equipment as JL and should be able to do it, if he can raise his game.
Obviously Rossi being more competitive would take points away from MM and DP.
