Nonsense story.
Lorenzo was last courted by Ducati when they were much more competitive than they are today and he still opted to stay with Yamaha.
He might consider replacing Pedrosa at Honda but that would be it.
A silly journalist just inventing stories I think.

I think Jorge is an opportunist..he was close to leaving Yamaha but claims how he wants to become a Yamaha legend. If he goes to Ducati,it will be purely for the money coz he kinda realises that Marc gonna whip his ass..especially after he got a year under his belt...so why not go for big money instead?..anyways a lot's gonna happen with contracts mid year..pretty interesting

I think Lorenzo will start thinking about staying or leaving Yamaha after at least 6 or 7 races to undrestand the M1's development in slow corners exit speed , for sure lorenzo is a wise rider and if he's gonna move to Ducati he needs to ask valentino before to tell him even a bit about nightmares he'll be seeing ... Another big ? to ducati guys , what if they stop spending huge money on bringing big names and winning nothing at all and start spending some wise money to develop the front end and the disastrous chassis balance . Lorenzo is the hottest property in the industry and who wants him should be thinking about his team mate

This has to be a very early April fool joke!
There is more chance of the sky falling down as there is of Jorge leaving Yamaha to ride the big red witch.
Look what happened last time someone left Yamaha for Ducati.

Yamaha will pay to keep him if they have to can Rossi to afford it Honda is going to have to come up with big big money to sign Marquez, they are not going to have 2 riders making 12- 15 million, just isnt going to happen. They will re up with Pedrosa for 3-4 million and have a rider who is capable of winning races and the title if everything falls just right, and Marquez, who will be odds on favorite to win titles every year for the foreseeable future. Until Ducati shows that they can be competitive, they will be stuck paying 2nd tier riders factory money. One thing that might happen, is Dani accepts his fate of never winning a title, and goes for a big 2 year retirement contract with Ducati.

It would be an crazy decision but could still turn up like what happened with Rossi and yamaha union in 2004... No way Lorenzo is going to outscore Rossi by winning 8premier class titles, so its worth gambling with the shortest but still the toughest route to try Ducati and have a chance to outscore Rossi.

What if marc wins another title this season and lorenzo move to honda as we expect?? which of the double winner will be the #1 in the team... Lorenzo won't like this situation even if he is asked to be the lead rider. so both Ducati and Suzuki will be in lorenzo's option and not just Honda.

For Lorenzo to become a elite champion he has to jump upon and win with an underdog like what VR and CS did...

Yamaha and Honda only look as good as they do because of a rule structure that currently favors them. Bring on the ecu limitations and Ducati will be back in business. Do people honestly think Honda/Yamaha will be on top forever?
They'll have their hamstringing here shortly. Honda will survive it but Yamaha will probably be back out to pasture.
