Agreed very interesting, I think even with the open Yamaha performance they made the right choice. Being on the factory Honda next year is a big deal. It's great seeing the Moto2 crowd gradually taking over MotoGP. Smith, Marquez, Espargaro(s), Bradl and Redding are the next gen MotoGP riders.

Shame he has different brakes to the rest of the guys, cant see him getting close to Nicky if thats the case. However next year on the factory bike he can really show his potential so looking good in the long run.

"The electronics on a MotoGP bike are like a huge book that you're in the process of writing, at the beginning it's empty and every time you go out you write some more in it, when the book's full you can be competitive."

Having just had a marathon discussion with RSMick & Truefan who say I'm absolutely wrong when I say that the electronics are too much as they take away the riders full input and adversely affect the real racing competition.

Then someone in the MotoGP paddock makes a statement like this. Which says unequivocally that you need masses of data and full analysis of that data and then pages and pages of codes written to provide solutions to MAKE YOU COMPETITIVE.

Yet Mick & Co tell me that it's all the rider actually making the difference & I'm an idiot who just doesn't understand.

Hmm. Which teams have the most data and electronic solutions and which teams do ALL the winning in MotoGP?

Nuff said.

2 years on a tech 3 is obviously better than a customer honda and a "factory" honda Bartholemy is the same guy that opted for Randy De puniet on the factory Kawasaki over Casey Stoner when they were both on the market coming from 250. Casey won twice as many races and was 250 runner up.

It's when you know it's all about the sponsors & money now. Absolutely nothing against Scott but once upon a time you'd have had to wait until Brno at minimum to decide who deserves what. I just hope he'll earn it.
