OMG...what happens with the factory guys...Yamaha's were having tyre issues right from the sepang test....Marc is recovering from the lets give him excuse..what happened to Dani....His feeling was good with the new tyre during sepang test...Does the grip level in Qatar is lot worst...Lets all get ready for a magic show tomorrow by EsA..what a hidden talent so far....Eventhough this guy had preseason testing at qatar...His potential is completely different...Each time he rolls on to the grid...he evolves each time....Tough time for the factory guys...Hard luck tomorrow...

Soft tyres doing the business, Dorna get what they want. Open/Satellite bikes in front of factory bikes at start of the race will mean likes of Jlo/Dani/Marquez won't perform their disappearing acts.

Honda's are stepping up bit by bit and they'll get there but factory Yamaha boys look in lot of trouble especially Rossi, not going as they planned.

Why are there such differences in MotoGP? What would you do to even things up?

Randy: Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Stoner have the support of the factories, they have the best bikes on the grid and a good team behind them. They also ride with a level of total confidence which, added to the fact that they are incredible riders, makes a big difference. The difference between the factory bikes and the rest of the field is huge, but it is logical that the best riders have the best machinery. We will have to wait until 2014, when supposedly we will all have the same electronics package.

Aleix: For me it is clear that Jorge, Pedrosa and Stoner have something more than the rest. But it isn't as much as you see on the track. There is a big difference in bikes and with electronics, so when this evens up the races will be much more fun there will be more equality. What Dorna are doing is proposing to limit electronics and power via the spec ECU. This will help a lo

Rossi was lucky to get through then. factory yamaha having all sorts of problems, great lap by lorenzo considering how much hes struggling. espargaros bike is getting ridiculous, yamaha missed a trick not going to open, the yamaha of espargaro is clearly much faster than the factory bikes. not taking anything away from espargaro but give lorenzo and rossi 24 litrres and a softer tyre and it would be a different story.

Okay, so we have essentially 4 (maybe 5) different classes here:

1) Factory - Rossi, Lorenzo, Marquez & Pedrosa
2) Satelite - P Espargaro, Smith, Bradl & Bautista
3) Factory 2 (or "with concessions") - Crutchlow & Dovizioso
4) Open - A Espargaro, Edwards, Hayden, Redding, etc. etc.
And maybe 5) Iannone & Hernandez ... because these would have been "Satelite" bikes but now we don't know? Maybe "Factory 2 Satelite"??

Come on!! WTF is happening to MotoGP???? Looks like Dorna couldn't organize a pi$$ up in a brewery!!

That being said, a MASSIVE congrats to Aleix Espargaro! The slowest top end out of all the bikes yet he breaks Stoner's lap record! Well done!! :)
