Beware what you hope for, young man!

Jokes aside, golden age for motoGP, many champs on the track and the change of baton from the young champ to the older legend... And all smiles and happiness and no drama... So far at least :).

Very mature and sporty of Vale, not many legends manage to approach the end with this light-hardheartedness.

Despite his (Marquez) injury, his win was not to be unexpected. I dont know if Rossi's second place was a fluke - once the other guys get up to speed he (Rossi) might start drifting back. Then again I may be wrong. No thanks to BBC having lost out to BT Sport I didnt get the chance to see this race live.

Paging all the Rossi-haters! Paging the trolls! Hello, come in please.

And it's always important to remember, when watching this type of extremely close contest, that it's 'Man plus MACHINE'. The Honda clearly had an edge on top end.

Nice to see VR enjoying himself, something you rarely witnessed the last couple of years.

Hmmmm. I remember Sachsenring 2008, after Stoner won that they headed to a track Rossi never won before. Yet surprise surprise, look! It's the USGP next! Vale won against a superior bike! Next comes the fallout between the two then. So...is this another Laguna Seca in the making but this time in Texas???
