So they're going back to last years' tyres for the Cota race? Lorenzo must be ecstatic. I expect Marquez will destroy everyone at Austin but I am hopping with the seamless gear box , better fuel consumption, etc maybe the Yamahas have closed the gap to the Hondas a little so the race won't be a long parade with the two Hondas running away. They probably will though.

Well the 2013 tyres would help Lorenzo for sure and they have data on setings but they would still have a new challenge with the electronics and fuel control for 20L at Austin!
Rossi was good on the 2013 tyres in preseason...better than he was on the 2014 tyre so I am hopeful Yamaha will mix it up...I believe MM will have the measure of the whole field but I also remember 2008 Laguna when another rider thought he had the measure of the whole field but the outcome was not so certain!
No disrespect to Stoner and certainly I am only hopeful that Rossi can stop MM just as he did in 2008...with Stoner...because I just love to see the battle of an this case an unexpected win from VR would be great... in al though I just hope for a great race Rossi or not!!

Due to production delays. What complete and utter bull, if true Bridgestone want sacking.

Ducati can now test as much as they like, providing they don't go over the tyre allocation, how about going back to the days of the excuse that this is next years bike we're testing.

the 2013 tyre sounds good for me. and not just because of jorge but alot of riders were going down. bradle..... in the lead.....falls that was just bad, BS made a very good race falls, ianonie falls etc etc, even MM had some moments. And the 2013 tyre was very good accept PI, the title was decided by only 4 points! If the new tyre suits your style better, use it ! if the old tyre suits you, use it. more tyres better competition better for the show better for us.
