Fantastic interview, honestly one of the best I've read for a long time. Remember listening to him properly for the first time when he was injured, he came in to talk with Nick and Gavin in the MotoGP commentary box for a while. His honest, down to earth insight and appraisal was really refreshing. A huge talent with an incredible career. Still, can't help feeling a little sad it's come to an end so soon.

"and Dorna don't really lile teams having teammates from the same country"

Carmello must be absolutely livid that all the top rides are dominated by riders from Spain those events last year where 9 out of 9 podiums where won by Spanish riders.

What are they to do with silly season this year everyone out of a contract.

Maybe Marquez might have a bigger ego than we think and might take on the red beast or enter the unknown with Suzuki.

Btw Dorna wacko Jacko (the next great Aussie rider) the guy that won 2 moto3 races needs a ride for next year btw he's not Spanish and can be placed with a Spanish teammate.

For TalentFan...Quote from 'Hopper' in BSB :-

I'm having to relearn riding the bike without all the electronics that I've had for the past 10 years.
I actually enjoy riding the bike more than before, it's fun when it spins up. There's a lot more for the rider to do rather than just rely on all the electronics.

Shrieker: In 2012 it seemed like Yamaha was trying everything to get rid of him just because Rossi was back in the picture. I bet Spies would be faring better than Rossi now had Yamaha retained him.

Oh geez! I like Spies, but you're delusional. He never has and never will do better than Rossi on a Yamaha.

Carmello E called it first Rossi will be on a compeitive bike in 2013 before anybody or even Spies considered it a possibility. Going on form Rossi hasn't actually impressed anymore than Spies has of recent years in racing the past matters naught when your racing tommorrow.

Max called it better than anyone only Rossi could jump on the championship winning bike after two horrid years at Ducati. He's a magician pulling a fast one (pun intended) not a doctor.
