I think Rossi is improving session by session a bit more hen everyone else however his runs were shocking compared to Marquez.A.Espagaro had the best runs but Rossi and Lorenzo will be there come qp and race day.
Qualifying
1.Marquez
2.Pedrosa
3.Rossi/Espagaro/Lorenzo
Race
1.Marquez
2.Pedrosa
3.Rossi/Lorenzo
Expect a massive fights between the Factory Yamaha's for the last rostrum place.

How many 1:39's did Rossi string together?

I checked out the times. Rossi's laptimes were mid-high 1.40's and MM's were low 1.40's/high 1.39's. Lorenzo started out with about the same times as Rossi but in his last stint he was lapping high 1.39s consistently.

Clearly "realist" I mention that his runs were shocking compared to the other front runners get your facts right.

Looking through the FP3 analysis:

JLO did 16 full laps
4x 1'41, 7x 1'40, 5x 1'39

MM did 14 full laps
1x 1'59, 1x 1'50, 1x 1'45, 1x 1'42, 3x 1'40, 7x 1'39

Yamaha's especially JLO/M1 combo timing seems consistent. We might see a tighter race. AE/NGM timing is pretty consistent but VR/M1 is not consistent.
