Interesting the disparity in initial setup success between Yam and Honda. Seems the Hondas start decently and take a few tweaks while the Yams take a frenzy of adjusting during practice and qualifying. Wonder why?

RaceFan26: Man he was amazingly consistent today reeling laps after lap. Would be nice if he can fight for victory.

Was he back to his old Lorenzo self? And not the Stoner-esque 1 Lap at a time he's being doing recently?
Actually dying to see a competitive on form Lorenzo this season.

@KnowNothing ... Maybe the Hondas are having an easier time adapting their setup to the tires?

& No, sorry, yah, it might happen, but odds are Lorenzo will lose to Rossi again, unless Rossi gets held up at the beginning of the race. It's in the cards (tires).

Without sarcasm, I'm curious as to how Bridgestone could engineer a tire around one bike. Are they getting race data, do they have the chassis specs, rider feedback? All of the above?

Or is as simple as not focusing on edge grip. While this would hurt JL, it theoretically shouldn't hurt Rossi as badly.

that's what I'm screaming. i don't think the Hondas are running software anymore...? i kid, but it's like they are running SKYNET...!? some kind of heuristic "auto adapting" algorithm. the damn bike's "self-aware" requiring no human intervention.

pull it out the crate on Thursday, press a big green button that says "GO", sit back and sip tea.
