Guna4699: Marc now has the performance edge over others and cushion in title fight,, but he won't sit back to play the numbers game even in risky situations telling championship is more important than race win,, simply to say he isn't a Lorenzo...

must have missed 2013 than! were mm didnt want to fight Jorge when JL played the whole field and took most wins even after double surgery triple broken collarbone! No mm didn't back off right! Jorge was just soooooo much faster!

I thought exactly the same as Dovi after Mugello, if Marquez was able to beat Lorenzo there, he can beat him anywhere.

It's scary how much he has improved, and he can only get better next year. Maybe for 2016 things will be differnet with the new tyres and control ecu, but I have a feeling Marquez would be fast on a bike with no wheels.
If I wasn't seeing what he's doing , I wouldn't believe it.

V4Poweeeer: "How about competing in both Moto GP and Moto2 next year?"

While we are at it slap moto3 in their as well. Only three other riders have won races in three grand prix classes Rossi, Hailwood and Read.

He'd put himself in a catagory all his own if he did that.

Do you mean 3 GP classes in the same year? Or championships in 3 classes?
A little confused by that thats all.
Because both Read and Hailwood competed in 3 classes in 1 year... But Rossi hasn't, he's won titles in each category which Marquez has already done.

Realist: I hope that MM wins every race from pole this year just to set a standard that can never be broken, only matched.

Ago won 3 years in a row ALL the races he started!!

5 years in a row he won all ALL the races he finished!

He did the same wins in a row also competing in the smaller classes, in the same years!!

The records are all there, and tough to break.

All Marquez has to do is play with Lorenzo until his beloved edge grip wears out - then overtake and make it stick.

Marquez is a god on used tyres. Lorenzo isnt, Lorenzo requires a 'sweet spot'.

Marquez will beat him every time now. Sorry to say.

I'm referring to the 'modern' era of racing. We all know about Ago's stats in the way that GP was constructed back then.
