“I liked the idea of the fear of a highside to make you respect the bike more. I want it to be more about the rider” - Karel Abraham.

Some sad folks love to criticize Karel and Dads money, never been a problem to me and have always thought with a decent bike under him he's be fast enough. Karels stuck with a problem no other teams have, he's the only rider in the team so the development of the MM software package isn't going to progress as quick as the other teams running 2riders. IM a Scott fan but i wasn't unhappy to see Karel beat him over the line in he last race. Hope he sticks with the Honda next year and i hope Honda improve the engine package so he can take the fight to the Yams and Ducatis.

He's a classy guy, a pleasure to talk to, smart and talented. The kind of guy I guess we should all hate as most of us don't have that BUT I, for one, don't. I think Abaja is exactly the kind of person I hope my son can grow up to be. On the money side of things none of those guys come from poverty as if you are poor then you can't get your young kid into bikes unless in exceptional circumstances. The biggest hypocrite was Casey on this, for making the snide remarks at Karel and his Dad yet he seemed to forget that his parents sold up EVERYTHING they had to take their son to Europe to go racing.

Karel is a credit and example to Motogp, he just gets on with the job, he was a great 250 rider but again never had the spec of Apriia he needed. The same people who slag him then praise riders like Haslam who has had more than his fair share of leg ups and done nothing, he even had a series set up just to get him in nationals.

Great interview.

Finally crash you have an interview from somebody other than Redding and Hayden.

Karel rode the Aprilia and knows that this bike is far from a turd his dad probably thinks its a better deal than the Aprilia was.

Imo Hayden needs to get over his self entitled attitude the guy honestly believes whinging about Honda to the media was going to get him a faster bike. Honda have effectively said you wamt it earn it.

Karel, Aoyama and Redding unlike Hayden acknowledge ohh duhhh we need more power but bitching to the media about Honda power week after week ain't going to make Honda want want to do them favours in the short to medium term.

I hope either Redding or Karel beat Hayden and get that updated motor first and leave Hayden in a tantrum at the end of the season.

Why all of the Hayden hate? He's not the one that initiates interviews - the journalists do.

Is Hayden supposed to decline to do interviews because people like Karel haven't had enough press?

I find it funny that you are critical of Redding of having too much press, but only want Hayden to lose.

At least Hayden isn't calling out other riders, saying he deserves Bautista's ride, etc. Redding has bitched like a little school girl this whole season.
