It doesn't look good to see Nicky hayden..former world champion riding open honda...Nicky needs to move to sbk and see if he can win the title and if not just retire with some respect. ..not like Colin edward who has become eyesore to the team and they want him out if possible now...learn something from Colin case Nicky and retire when still people respect you.

Americans' time in MotoGP is almost up. Herrin is failing terribly in Moto2. Collin is retiring this year. Hayden is on a downward spiral. I don't see any Americans being in MotoGP next year unless Cameron Beaubier makes the switch from AMA. I think he should have switched last year. I can't for the life of me figure out why anybody wanted Josh Herrin in Moto2. They guy played second fiddle to Josh Hayes and only won the AMA SBK title last year by default after Hayes had issues with the bike in Daytona and then had an uncharacteristic fall later in the season.

Next year with the new pneumatic engine he should finally have a bike that matches his talent again. Will be quite interesting actually if Scott moves to Bautistas bike I could see Nicky getting the better of him on the 'proddy' machine.

Might be time for a move to the more diverse and interesting series. Nicky is not 98 lbs and in his early 20's. These GP bikes are made for little jockeys now, and with his passport he is not getting access to the best machinery possible. Take no shame in racing elsewhere, as no one wants to see you circulate at the tail end.... which is the spot which has been provided for you. Go revitalize your career in Supers, remember these are machines made for men. The 2-wheeled Spanish jockey super-computer that is GP will only make the rest of your days a depressing hell. I have no doubt that with a good team in sbk he can ride at the front again. Don't let pride make you a slave to the series you "think" is the one you belong in.

re: "I need to go home and get healthy,”

uhh, yeah. we've already had this discussion.

re: "I'll go home and see some doctors and see what we can do."

HUSTLE UP...!!!

Fremont awaits pal. if you hurry, you may even get to hang out with more than a few Superbikers...? Larry says he's still waiting on that 5 bucks you owe him from Mid-Ohio so he'll meet you out front. he's bringing Aaron so don't try to run. :)

3 words... Ono Hawaiian Barbeque.

oh and text Tom, word is he's providing "high speed ground transportation" in and around the Bay area like so much Yorkshire Steve McQueen. he and Baz are on "Man-cation". Melandri wanted in, figured there's more than enough room in the back.
