“Even when Pol Espargaro came past me I managed to stay with him for two or three laps and it was the same with my team-mate” - Scott Redding.

The article says it all. The sooner he gets a quicker bike the better. 14kmh down on the Factory Hondas is a bit much for him to show what he can do, especially for a rider his size and weight. Very short straight too, so he is well down on acceleration as well.

Give him Bradley's bike and Pol would have something to worry about.

I know scott has come in for a bit of criticism lately....but you only have to look at his aggression on the bike, elbow down etc......I'm sure he could hack a faster bike at the front....no problem.

I agree. But where is Pol from again?

Codger im glad you dare to speak about that because for long you would have got alot of dissagree. yes its a handicap being big and more heavy, but normaly here they say he can flick the bike more easy to compensate. acceleration deceleration fuel and aerodinamics etc. so im happy to see alot agree on you including me! so tnx

As a Brit I see Redding as our best rider - his results say it all.

But let's all wait for 'Knowsnothing' to pipe up and tell us that Redding's strong results mean nothing as Hayden has tennis-elbow or something...and that we should 'just ask John McGuinness'

Why wait until Motegi, drop Alvaro now and get Scott on his bike... every weekend this season he has shown everybody (I presume) that he deserves better bike than what he is using at the moment... would be a complete joke if he by any means don't get it next year at the latest...

It was a good ride from Redding, regardless of any problems Bautista had, or Hayden. He started towards the back of the pit lane group, and finished eleventh.

Maybe when Honda made the claim about about the proddy being only three tenths per lap slower than the factory bike, they could see this race coming... :)

Look at his form compared to the Avintia and PBM riders in the background of the photo. That says it all. I've always thought Scott has great riding form. He's really getting after it in that photo. But he needs a better bike.
