They are a successful team, not least because they attract the best riders, and provide enough resources to make it possible for them to succeed if they're good enough. You wouldn't choose to alter that formula... it seems to work for Honda and Repsol,

shamarone: re: "The Spanish petroleum company has backed the official HRC squad since 1995, making it the longest running sponsor-factory agreement of its kind in the the motorcycle World Championship."

exactly, now everybody's finally catching up to s1 and figuring it out.

and since 2003, Ducati have been sponsored by those we must not speak of (Marlboro) and the team is still the Marlboro Ducati team. Second longest factory sponsorship deal I believe.
I figured that out.

You could always go for a litre of Repsol Carrera 10W60 Engine Oil - £12.85 on Amazon

"Half of the 500cc/MotoGP World Championship titles won in the past 20 years have gone to Repsol Honda "

And the usual drones will bang on about Spanish bias... but wait!

"thanks to Mick Doohan (1995-1998) - Australian,
Alex Criville (1999) - Spanish,
Valentino Rossi (2002-2003) - Italian,
Nicky Hayden (2006) - American,
Casey Stoner (2011) - Australian
and Marquez (2013) - Spanish."

Only 2 out of 10 there.

shamarone......as the self proclaimed expert on here, is there any chance that you could get Honda/Repsol to tart up their decades old paint scheme ?

If you are for any reason unable, could you get S1 to do it ?

Thanks in advance.
