Beating himself up and potentially crippling wrist injury to carry for the rest of his life.... So he can ride a bike designed to be hopelessly uncompetitive.

I like Nicky as a rider. But IMO It's way past time that he and ALL non factory pilots cried enough and told Dorna to ram it. Riders are using up their careers as grid fillers, as Dorna exploit them while failing them utterly.

Without non factory entrants MotoGP hasn't enough entrants. Yet they are treated as 3rd class grid fillers so the Factory teams get a field to humiliate and look good for fans too damn stupid to care.

Maybe if the privateers all pulled the plug then Dorna would be forced to reconsider and put a series in place where all entrants got a genuinely fair go, not just expected to waste careers and risk their health so that idiots can call them carp for not being able to beat Marquez.

Get out Nicky. You'll get no thanks nor kudos for staying and zero chance of a competitive ride.

A carpectomy is complex enough without having the alignment problems inferred by the proximal row issue, and much more challenging when a radial styloidectomy is concurrently involved.

It would be better if they simply remove a row of small bones in the wrist in order to increase mobility within the joint. Hopefully, his wrist will work again after the summer break, and the pain will not be too intense. I'd like to see him find the performance limits of the RCV10000R, rather than the limits of his body.

Fully agree with TalentFan. Time is now for Hayden to think about his health and career. SBK has got to be a consideration if he wants to continue with a prosperous career. His spot in the GP game-plan is a joke.

Very truly a class act, his ability and heart merit a better bike, for those who believe Redding the superior rider, you don't KNOW Nick. Barring his wrist he is in excellent physical shape I would love to see him on a competitive ride somewhere.

Injured with 2 DNS's and still only 4 points back from so called "superstar" Redding. Get healthy Nick and put little Scotty back in his place. Despite the hate, I know damn well you're the superior rider.

Totally agree with TalentFan - except that it would be a damn shame to see Nicky go out with a whimper. Not only a talented rider, but a real class act. It's funny to hear him (Hayden) describe himself as 'crying' about his injury. In reality, he's done anything but cry - just gotten on with a handicap that most others really WOULD cry about. This so-called world championship is really more to do with the haves and the have-nots rather than true competition. Dorna need to give all the riders competitive machinery or risk this championship losing all credibility. No offence to Marquez et al, but dang, it sure would be nice to see a group of 8-10 riders in with a shout of a win from time to time!

Dr Chao found extreme trauma to the right wrist due to the extreme force needed to get the measly 200hp out of the CBR1000rr , he recommends last years RC213V or a new motorcycle without a 35hp deficit.
