It's hard to know if MM winning in this way is bad for the show or good, the only question now is how many races he can win in a row because, lets face it, he's already won the championship. Luckily most of the races have been pretty good so far but for me the main show has been in Moto3.

I do feel that MM's performance has been slightly flattered by always having the best equipment and rock solid sponsorship so It'll be interesting to see how MM stacks up against the all time greats in the end because he's certainly a phenomenon.

It's boring to see same rider winning all the time but when winning streak extends this long we better stop calling it as boring and let us fix our eyes firmly on the recOrd book that is going to be rewritten... we may get to see winning streaks but this is once in a two or three decades treasure to watch for...

Same Applies to Rossi when people accuse him for blocking a potential seat of an young blood... He isn't riding a top bike in midpack.,, if not for Marc he would now be leading the CS this year... he is rewriting the history books every race he completes... How long a rider can remain on the pointy edge of the sport.,,?? look at valentino if you wanna know...

Lorenzo has had the best equipment since 2008,
Pedrosa has had the best equipment since 2006.
Rossi has had the best equipment (ignore the Ducati years) since Noah launched the ark.
I don't think their performances have been flattered. And as for sponsorship, no matter how much you have, it doesn't make you a better rider.
Comparing against the greats is always iffy No-one has seen Ago race one of these bikes, so comparis

I was given VIP tickets for Valencia for my birthday. When it looked like Marc was going to have the title in the bag long before then, I was thinking of getting a refund and going to an earlier race next year instead. Now I'm starting to wonder if come Valencia he could actually be going for the Grand Slam. Might be worth going after all.

cassyo:
Huskymick: It's not boring it's history being made.

As it was the cases of Alexander the Great and Genghis Khan, one might say.

And I'd bet Marquez would thrash them too on a bike...

Who is fond of history in the making, should keep an eye on MM, while it lasts, because, usually, it takes decades until another barrier breaker will arive. How many decades?Well, it all depends on how further ahead will MM push the record bars, from now on. They are, already, at a level unseen before and it seems that he will not gonna give up soon.

What a dumb statement!!! It's not a question of what YOU feel is dumb , it's a question of the other riders to not catch him! That's not MM fault.
