Hector Barbera is one rider for me who's never had a fair crack in MotoGP regarding a competitive ride.
He's won several races in 125cc and 250cc and finished runner up in both classes.
3 Years on a Pramac Ducati has tainted his GP career to a point where he'll be stuck in the Open class category with Aoyama...another rider who deserves better.

I'd like to see Avintia go with Ducati, provided they get close or equal to Pramac kit, and contribute to the factory effort with meaningful data...or, if Kawasaki supports them with a prototype effort...Yamaha already has YFR, Tech 3 and Forward Racing...

Ducati is the best option for the near term value of the class...and Yearby, JedPB and Jason all make good points...

If they get a 2015 Ducati open, with Ducati HP and revised chasis they can potentially challenge Honda and Yamaha satellite bikes, kill the remaining CRTs and embarrass the RCV1000R half effort, even with the promised Pnuematic valves.

It would be great to see Kawasaki back, I know the mention of them doesn't mean a full factory prototype, but maybe one day.. They've shown in wsbk they know how to make a decent bike. Gotta love the green bikes...

Kawasaki will probably win its second consecutive title this year in WSBK... it'd be great if they focused a bit more on MotoGP and maybe brought in a full factory team for 2016. We'd finally have all the major players in the top sport again!

I know they didn't do that great first time out but with the size of KHI, if they ever decide to really have a go at MotoGP, watch out everyone... 'cause their pockets are even deeper than Honda's.

If kawasaki supports avintia in the electronics department and provides truly powerful engines they can get closer or into the top ten. Since theyre on a zx10r mod its possible. Look at tom sykes lap times on the (supposedly) slipery pirellis...

Enter as factory team in 2015 (to keep proper factory software) but be clear to the press that avintia is remaining privateer and is not under full factory support.

Just my idea, because i love the efforts of the smaller teams and i know kawasaki takes notice (or atleast they should)...
