rbr46: Held out until after 31st July so Ducati are forced to pay him his 2015 salary. Clever but greedy.

He won't get paid by Ducati for 2015 if he doesn't race for them in 2015.

And seeing as he's almost certainly taking a very large pay cut to drop down into a satellite team, I'd suggest it's racing ambition rather than greed that's providing the impetus for the move.

I think he's trying to save his MotoGP career, because another disastrous Ducati year could be deadly for him.

strange situation now, if Crutchlow out of Ducati, Ianonne enter in his place, probably Hernandez receive some more support, second Pramac seat is free, maybe Suzuki turn his head and make a great offer for Crutchlow, would him accept? if not, maybe he would replace Brdl, and...second bike for LCR? or Brdl could be a second option for Suzuki if Crutchlow wouldnt accept? if he dont accept, where could he go? Pramac?
or what about the Forward rumors?

by the way, why Suzuki dont make a offer for Bautista? ...

And here we have a second rider that is after failing completely is still able to escape career killer Ducati and land most likely on a competitive bike afterwards (the first one being Rossi)

To be honest, I hate the bull**** that has surrounded this Cal leaving then staying and finally leaving ducati thing, but also the whining the the succer has put up this year about the bike performance. A true racer would just shut the **** up, look in the mirror and start learning to utilize the bikes strengst, instead of living in the past. Everyone in the team and paddoc know that the ducati needs development and what the needs are. The difference is tha in the mean while his team mates have put their energy into driving and the results are clear. But that was the case also tech 3 where dovi whiped Cal regularly.
