Q: "Why not just watch the racing and enjoy?"

A: 'cause the last time anybody actually RACED was back in the 20th century.

here in the 21st (century), good or bad... money, politics, and the self-serving agendas of singular individuals on high govern what we now see on track.

windyman: Fact is scott is the only brit who has run with and beaten marques on a level playing field.if he was spanish or itailian sponsors would be queing up but none of the british businesses with that sort of money to spend are interested. Rather spend their money on athletics or some other bunch of no hopers.as for b.t.they only want to rip us off to keep the shareholders happy, not give anything back .way Britain has gone im afraid. Good luck scotty your the best we've got.

When did he beat Marquez?? as far as i know when they were racing together in moto2 Marc won 17 races and Redding 0. Redding wants that factory honda but i have a feeling that Nakamota will give it to Miller

Donington scott youngest gp winner di meglio second marques third.marc also said this week that scott is the only one he thinks could run with him.

Really dont get the Miller thing. Completely overrated and over hyped and way down the talent list. Dont think it should go to Redding either but he should certainly be ahead of Miller.

Ah and so here is the dilemma.

Not only have British companies got a notoriously bad record for sponsorship for Brit riders in MotoGP, the change to the TV coverage will make the job even harder now:

SPONSOR: So MotoGP is on BBC right, so thats pretty good in getting my name out there?

MARC VDS: Ah sorry, that was last year, now it's on BT Sport and ITV4.

SPONSOR: Blimey so thats thats going to be well down [on viewers] than last year.....no thanks.........
