RIP Norick, you will be sadly missed by those that watched you race but more so by those that knew you personally, whether family or friend :(

Certainly a sad day. Abe has come a long way since 500cc days. He was a road warrior. Condolences to his family.

I feel great sadness at the loss of Japans last 500gp winner, a great talent that never lived up to expectation. Never able to qualify well, 'we let him out of the cage on sundays,' Kenny Roberts senior always insisted, and boy could he race. Dramatic 500cc racer, always at Suzuka ( sublime in '96 !! ), but never recaptured the latent talent of his late teen years \ early 20's. Cheers Norick !! Dean.
