Casey Stoner did an amazing job this year, everything came together and he took full advantage of it.
He is the World Champion, good on him.
But please don't tell me you seriously believe he could have done the same on the Repsol Honda with Michelin tyres
for that would prove you really don't know **** about the sport.

Being an Aussie, I'd like to see Casey take it out in style, but Rossi's ride in 2003 to blow away the 10-second penalty is one of the two best rides I have ever seen - the other being Hailwood in the Castrol 6-Hour, his true return to racing. The circuit deserves those two on even tyres slugging it out, with Vermuelen and West next,

Hey Grromm, re: "5 successive wins"
Not last year.
Marco's beautiful 1 handed powerslide accross the finish line!!!!!
With rookie CV an impressive 2nd!!!

I hope it's a dry race,... but if it does rain...

It will be Westy 1st, Vermuelen 2nd & stoner 3rd!!!

I'm a Rossi fan Grromm, I will be nice!!
But as an Australian , I have really enjoyed '07!!

Rossi may win,..He does know Philip Isl. alot better than Casey.
This is Stoner's home GP, but he did leave Australia @ 14 years old to race in England & Spain!!! He wasn't old enough for our local 125's.
So he doesn't have the home advantage some may think!!!

Seems like ages since the last race.

I'm hoping for some close racing this weekend - it would be great to see a group of 5 or 6 riders battling it out for the win. There hasn't been enough close races this year, let's hope the season finishes with some proper excitement. :)

That's true sportsmanship Jonny!

I'm a Rossi fan and really enjoyed 2006, even though he didn't win it in the end
It had all, drama, the falling, the engine blowup, the tyre delaminating, the injuries at and after Assen,
the incredible comeback from midseason, the Hayden/Pedrosa thing and Valentino dropping it in Valencia.
It was Haydens in the end and rightfully so, Rossi was just not consistent enough.
Therefore I was sad and happy at the same time.

These are the things I miss in 2007, not taking anything away from Caseys great championship.
He rocked the world of MotoGP that was dominated by Japanese, Italians and Spaniards. ;)
