Grizz, are you ******* serious about Hayden????. That title last year was about luck and being in the right place at the right time, nothing else. Valentino hasn't had the best equipment over the past couple of years, but even if the Yamaha was top notch he still wouldn't have won the title. Stoner has displayed the true way to be champ, dominate the season, not just ride around collecting a win or 2 then just ride for points like Hayden...... When Rossi won 5 in row, which he dominated, no-one said a peep.......... when the shoe is on the other foot, the Jap manufacturers, Michelin and riders scream blue murder. Get over it. Casey has smashed everyone this year, and deserves his accolades.

yes I'm awake, Im I a motorcycle intruder or somthing ????/please explain.

Mick Doohan said he thinks Casey would still have won many races this year and still won the WC if Vale was on the same bike and tyres.

There was a doco on Casey after the race in one part he is riding a GP07 with no electronics and he is power slideing in every corner sweeet. Interesting thing is they comment on same lap times later in the year with electronics installed.
A shame all of you guys couldnt watch as it was facinating to see just who wants Stoner on there team and how the biggest names are supporting him and alsowhat happened last year.

Grizz.......... you don't live in Australia do you? There was an interview with Valentino here on Channel 10 where he basically came out and said he wants to ride for Ducati in 09... do you seriously think that Ducati wouldn't want him there???? He's one of the biggest names in any form of motorsport, let alone MotoGP.

Casey's put on a bike as a kid and has raced since,
just like Vale, Nakano, de Puniet, name them

His is a beautiful story of determination and sacrifice because his parents sold everything
and moved to England living in campers to support their son racing in Britain and Spain.
If you look at the present day riders they have to start at 4 on a minibike to become a champ at 21
it is incredible, but is it healty? I've seen parents standing beside the track slamming their child
that was standing there crying after a fall, probably to make them tough?

Mick Doohan can say what he wants, it will never be proven.
It is just as hypothetical as any other discussion about who is the best,
up until now Giacomo Agostini holds the best papers and few people will deny him that spot.
Because of the indreased level of professionalism in the sport and changed rules
no one will probably ever be able to reach him.

I admire Mick Doohan, he was a great champion despite tremendous physical sacrifice
he stayed on top of the game for years. He set an example for many.
I've seen him race often at my hometown. Most of the time he just cleared off in the distance,
like Stoner is doing now.
That still doesn't make his statement more than a hypothesis.

This rossi ducati thing is rediculous, in 2005 rossi said he did'nt like ducati, basicly his heart was with the jap bikes but then he said he would "never use tabbaco money" for sponsership then he did.
This upset Ducati and livio suppo said he couldnt see rossi riding for them after this not to mention budget to pay him, factory spec 3rd bike.
and still back in 2005 rossi claimed he would like to see out his career on a suzuki like his hero kevin schwantz.

I agree Grromm!!
Doohan(ozzie), was being interviewed by an Australian TV chanel,
about Casey(ozzie)!!
He may have embellished abit,..
But Doohan is an Icon, legend here,
talking up our new champion!!
It is great to see the general public here, not just motorcyclists,
getting into MotoGP 07.
Great for the sport here in Ozz.
