Grizz, are you ******* serious about Hayden????. That title last year was about luck and being in the right place at the right time, nothing else. Valentino hasn't had the best equipment over the past couple of years, but even if the Yamaha was top notch he still wouldn't have won the title. Stoner has displayed the true way to be champ, dominate the season, not just ride around collecting a win or 2 then just ride for points like Hayden...... When Rossi won 5 in row, which he dominated, no-one said a peep.......... when the shoe is on the other foot, the Jap manufacturers, Michelin and riders scream blue murder. Get over it. Casey has smashed everyone this year, and deserves his accolades.

RE: Re: "Boring"..."Casey won by 6 secs. Lorenzo won by 20 secs. I doen't get your point!!

My point is that 250 have had all the action this year. I don't care if Lorenzo wins with 5 minutes. There is _always_ a winner. That's not interesting. Overtakings are what it's all about: Fun to watch. Good racing - that's what it's about. And 2500cc today had some great battles between 2nd to 5th position. GP had 2 seconds between the first 10 or so with very few overtakings. Or at least compared to the good old days (last year). Compared to this year, I guess it was rather action packed. :rolleye

MotoGP used to be fun in the last 5 laps. Now only the start is interesting. Or if it rains

The general thread running through this site is that Rossi has been let down by Yamaha and Michelen. Many times I have read comments claiming if Rossi and Stoner had the same bike and and tyres then Rossi would win every time. Interesting but wrong. How may other Bridgestone riders have won races this year? Capirossi and Vermeulen and both these victories were in the wet. The difference this year is Stoner. The guy is brilliant and may just go onto dominate motogp over the next few years. The challenge will not come from Rossi, he is stuck with Yamaha. The future challenge will come from Pedrossa, Lorenzo ans Hayden.
