yes grromm, i believe the ducati/bridgestone partnership has been important for each other the bridgstones and ducati have come on really quick since they got toghether in 2005, rossi rode a good race i know he won't like being a distance third but honestly tell me someone else who could have got the yamaha there today. In my opinion the worst decision yamaha made was letting carlos checa go to ducati in 05 he was rossis' team mate in 04 and everybody knows what an excellent devlopment rider he is, he actually beat vale a few times in 04, that's what rossi has missed i think a competitive team mate

I am not sure if Lorenzo is a good test rider either...
But Ducati will do their ultimate best to defend the titel, I think they still have some advanteges left..

but as we said before, he doesn't want someone to beat him in the same garage, he is a bit of a cuckoo.
Yamaha could also have chose to seek more competitiveness in their other teams, like the Fortuna Yamaha's
giving them better equipment in turn for better more feedback.
Maybe they are to small an outfit for that.

One other thing: he has to work on his starts, he loses out way too much and can't afford that anymore in this field

It'll be a while before the Japs catch up with Ducati, but you'd better put your money down they will next year, then there'll be a whole new set of excuses flying around, be it tyres, riders or manufacturers... I'm a Triumph rider... They are going WSS next year... In ten years we'll all be celebrating Triumph winning the MotoGP chamionship with the Triumph Weight-Watchers Greenpeace team!

I for one am happy that the Ducati boys have wrapped up the
championships as I always like to see a new champion I find things get a little boring after 2 or 3 years of the same people winning all the time....

rossi seems to have a lot to answer for, he wins it's boring, he doesn't win he's finished make up your minds

You are totally right vicripoll, Valentino still is one of the best rider in the field, what amaze me every time again is the fact he is able to pump himself up during the race. I mean his racepace during practices wasn't good but that all change when he starts off racing..
