How many times have we heard this during the season?
And regarding improvements from Yamaha, Rossi has to play his part. As lead team rider, Rossi is responsible for Yamaha bike and Michelin tyre development. Yet, he leaves development and testing to Edwards (who really lacks the capability to do this) whilst Rossi's off doing Ferrari tests, WRC drives, etc.
Then, Rossi (& his fans) have the cheek to blame Yamaha & Michelin for doing a bad job!!!
Basically, he has got exactly what he deserved. Rossi's lazy compared with someone like Hayden.
If Rossi dedicates himself 100% to bike development and testing, then perhaps he will have a decent package in 2008. After all, he's paid enough - he should put the work and effort in.

Michelin are getting it together nicely,
let's see how Valencia goes.
The whole, 'excuses' or whatever discussion is a bit silly IMHO

Never mind flying tyres in overnight. Michelin have had between 1 and 4 weeks to make some good rubber for the next race. I large established company like them with there resorces. Disgraceful.

Way back at the first 800 test Brno last year, some of the first words out of Rossi's mouth about the bike were "need more speed". It seems Yamaha barely even tried to deliver until Misano, & look what happened there. He told them what he needed, he did his job.

I'm sure you can look up the original articles right here on crash.

I'm really ****d off with the testing comments about Rossi. Does anyone remember the pre season test when Edwards was the sole Factory tester saying " I think the bikes coming on well, but we will have to wait for Vale to ride it as HE will dictate which way the bike gets developed. So instead of developing the bike Vale rested on his talent to sort the bike out. Ooops. Another title lost Vale, still always the Rallying to fall back on. Go on Vale put it on its roof again!!!! ;)

Interesting read, This season is almost over now all we can do is look forward to a great 2008, I have grave doubts with rossi's Tyre choice next year. A little bit of the grass is greener over there stepping into the equasion. The ducati has made the best of the bridgestones this year becasuse of the fantastic traction controll system, Rossi will now be a one man band, with no other rider on a yam and bridgestones he could find tyre data very hard to come by.
I wish him the very best and Hope he does well, Lets just hope yamaha are preparing for the best and not simply hoping for it.
In terms of power and fuel usage I cant see yamaha geting near Ducati Well reliably anway

Hope Vale wins this one. It has been a dissapointing season for the Fiat Yamaha team. A win should consolidate for the hard work to stay at least second in the championship.

I had a dream last night I met Rossi in a supermarket. I asked him if he raced on an Yamaha RD350 and he said 'no'. Then I woke up. At least I got to meet him (sort of).

That's interesting,

I had a similar dream some days ago, meeting him when I was together with a woman riding an XT500,
she had red leathers he was wearing his 2006 Camel outfit.
Very relaxed guy, we talked for a while :)

If Rossi is on Bridgestones next year can you imagine the cry's from the Rossi Fan Club if Lorenzo beats him at any time.

Poor Lorenzo, he will understand what Casey has gone through all season. "He only beat Rossi because of the tyres!" Lorenzo's destiny is to never get credit for a good ride because it will always be because of the tyres!

What's the bet that Rossi tries to swap back to Michelin half way through 2008 when he realises that Casey has won this season based on skill rather than tyre advantage!
