The bike is in great shape. Pity it is ridden by a couple of muppets.

MOTOGP » Vermeulen: The bike is in great shape

Rizla Suzuki's inter-team battle for fifth, and perhaps even fourth, in the final MotoGP World Championship standings saw Chris Vermeulen get the early edge over John Hopkins.

Suzuki need a good result on Sunday. They have had a good season by their standards but have let it slip the last couple of races. Or is that because the Hondas are starting to get up to speed. I thought Hopper had lost the plot when he signed for Kawasaki, but judging by recent results then I would have to say the Kwacker is the better bike. Good luck to both riders, it's alway nice to see Suzuki do well.

The Hondas and Yamahas dropped down the field this year,
once they are up to scratch again you'll see where Suzuki's at.

I have a lot of respect for Loris Capperossi but I don't think he is the right man for Suzuki, after this seasons more miss than hit performances have shown and he's getting a bit long in the tooth now. They should have tried harder to sign Malandri, or even Rossi if he his that unhappy with Yamaha and Michelin. At least he would be on a decent bike with Bridgestones and would have had a better chance of winning back the title. Winning the title with 3 different manufacturers would be an amazing achievement.
