Zoom,,, this comment of urs can Doom you ! Beware of what u wish. Lorenzo has no idea how fast the ducatis & the hondas are and only Rossi with his exceptional talent has kept them close.

Lorenzo has to leave yamaha to win anything in Motogp.

There is no rider who can expect to win on a Yamaha right now, only Rossi. Poor Lorenzo and JT, their skills will not shine with the M1. (But i hope im wrong)

Rossi is a has-been, Stoner has wiped the floor with him, Pedrosa is getting his near-to-the-ground *** into gear, and now the new evil one, Jorge Lorenzo has come to play.

The King is dead.....long live the King !!!!!

Lorenzo is undeniably talented, but he's frail too.
He has shown strange gaps in his consistency, like when it rains or last race at Valencia.
Comparing him to Rossi is bold, especially when Vale is not riding at the same moment.
I wish you all good luck with your new hero,
looking forward to the Jerez test when Vale's hand will be better, rides Bridgestones
and James Toseland has a go on his new toy :p

Lorenzo will be riding WSBK in 2 years. Lack of results, inability to ride all conditions (bad weather, bike problems), a fantastic ability to find the gravel most weeks and a very fragile mental state will see him gone sooner rather than later. Only thing that may save him is his nationality and the fact that if you are Spanish, Italian or Japanese, ability is only a minor consideration when given a factory motorcycle - see Checa, Nakano, Tamada etc plus half a dozen each of Italians and Spainards riding around on Factory Aprillias in 250/125.

Morgue - Exactly where in my posting did I say that the field should be refreshed every year. My idea of racing is to see a well balanced field of experience, nationality and at least 3 promising rookies given a chance. Without this new blood then racing would just stagnate. So what if they crash a bit first season, how many times did Rossi and Stoner crash in theirs, and then look what they achieved in their 2nd season !!!

Ha! Ha! Ha! Morgue, there was only one player in the field, the other two were just fighting for 'best of the rest' or have you been watching a special season that only goes on in your head, where at every race Rossi sets pole, fastest lap and wins. :-o

Did you watch Donington this year? Where abouts exactly did Stoner come from in the field and how many riders did he overtake (including Rossi) to win the race?
