I agree, right place right time.
But I don't think TC is the reason.
I think its cause the bike is so hard to ride. (the diff between him and other ducati riders)

Remember also Rossi went into Motogp in the best team

melandri recognizes the huge potential of the bike and its a fact that is the only bike stoner can win on. he doesnt ever battle because he qualifies at the front and runs like a scared rabbit in front using the potential of the bike " by making no mistakes". that is the one and only way of stoner's winning. it is a fact that we admire outstanding riders that can perform miracles - such as winning on a bike with far less potential or battling their way from the 14th in the grid to winning. that is truly amazing.

By the way he was 12th on the first corner at Donnington in the wet and passed every rider in front of him to win.

he cannot ride on another bike like he does on a ducati. there has never been any evidence of it in the history of motogp. place him on another bike and lets see what happens..but as stoner knows himself this fact - he is going to glue himself to ducati for life. on any other bike he would be as good as elias i guess. and that is good enough. didnt say he cant ride but he is very simplistic when it comes to riding. no skill in difficult situations: just makes sure he makes no mistakes. no life to it.

Some people really havent got a clue...... The Guy has blasted the opposition this year, Why??? well he has the best package, rider,bike,tyres...end of, He still has to work the thing, If he has a mechanical advantage, so what, Maybe the slit eyes should try a bit harder, the might of the Japanese cant beat a small factory form bologna who do not have a budget for racing other than sponsorship.
This is prototype racing which means exactly that......ffs
AS for the comment about running away at the front gina, im sure that is the whole point............Jeeeshhh.

Why not just admit the guy's doing well, he rode the LCR and when he finished he finished high up the field, you sound just like the other know nothing rossy muppets.

Gina, You are unbelievable.
Pedrosa has never ridden another bike other than the FACTORY HONDA and he hasn't won. Can he not ride any other bike? Rossi is the only one to have swapped and won. But guess what the last 2 years he has not won so even the great Rossi needs the best bike on the grid to win. What is your fantiasy arguement. Grow up and face the facts that Stoner is the fastest rider in MotoGP at the moment. He knows how to win and has the fire in the belly that gives him the drive to win.
