Ozzie Boy , i am a Racing fan ( and a Rossi fan ) so if that makes me a Rossi groupie then so be it , however i take offence at your comment about Rossi fans knowing nothing about racing , i've watched bike racing since the late 70s and i've probably forgotten more about racing than you will ever know , don't be a geek.
Casey = World champion and imo a bloody worthy one too , fast whatever the weather and type of track , he deserves credit for a great year not criticising , he was one of four Dukes , where were the others ???? Exactly.

Not trying to defend Casey here but just because he did not have many battles does not mean much more than that no one else could keep up. He pushed the bike, and trust me it is hard to keep going faster and faster in the race when you have no one to go after. I cant remember in which race it was that he set the fastest lap of the race on the last or second last lap. TC is definately enhancing the handling of the bikes, but they all have it. I think this season the Bridgstone tyres were the biggest improvement. It can be seen on the performances of other teams throughout the season. Hopkins, Vermuelen, and even Barros had some really good results.

That JT case. It was all about Tech 3 plan not to test now.

BTW VR has the status or what it is ..."moto genius" and that official doctor appointment and what else... Ridiculous! Stoner hasn't any "official" doctoring or godhood and have to hope that he is enough clever not take any appointments!

On tv you can see and replay every detail on every corner and straight. Only what you miss is that "feeling", smell of rubber, exhaust, ... crowd... at track stand you are one part of that race but to see better????

Rossi dominated for many years under the old tyre rules. Remember a couple of years ago at Donington in the wet he was mid pack for a while, then just took the mickey by posting lap times nearly 4 seconds faster than anyone else. Stoner did similar this year at Donington so perhaps HE might now dominate for a while. Although,the tyre reg's have changed for next year and Michelin will come back strong so why has Rossi jumped to Bridgestones?? If I was Rossi I would have jumped bike not tyres.If Stoner does one over Rossi again next year what will Rossi change then,,,,,career? I dont mind Casey getting faster, as long as they all get closer to each other,that might be like,,,,,,, racing.

Why is it that when Rossi won everything in sight (for several years, mind you) and there was no racing for first place it was exciting, yet when Stoner wins everything in sight and there is no racing for first place (for only one year so far), it is boring? Are you Rossi fans that incredibly stupid and biased? Is your attention span that short?

Ok lets put things straight When has a world championship been won on an inferior bike,tyre,rider and team package?NEVER Look back to Agostini 15 times world champion on MV Agusta,Barry Sheen Suzuki, Eddie Lawson Yamaha,Wayne Rainey,Kevin Schwantz Freddie Spencer, Mick Doohan,Valentino Rossi and of co**** Kenny Roberts.These are only a few of the past greats.All these guys had the best of the best.As for traction control this season they all have different forms of it,it has made racing safer and that's what it should be all about. To ride a bike fast you have to have feel,confidence in yourself,tyres,handling,and power.Stoner has it try and catch him next year

No one can say YOU have a short attention span being a Hopkins fan!The guys been in MGP since the 500 days and has only got on the podium this year! Only his teeth have improved. Well done to him for moving to Kawasaki, at least he will have a reason not to get on the podium again.
Domination IS boring, its NOT racing. Stoner this Rossi that. I want them all to arrive at every corner banging fairings competing for the same piece of tarmac for 30 laps. Its not stupid but Iam biased coz I love the sport not Scalextric racing.

i met a rossi fan once. he had a yamaha R1 painted like a repsol honda. for 6 months, i NEVER saw the bike move from it's place in the apartment parking lot. one day i saw him outside with the bike all torn apart so i decided to stop and talk to him. he told me that Valentino was the man and that he had no less than 7 sets of leathers like Valentino's. he said that he had just gotten the engine built on the bike. when he started up his bike, it started making horrible death sounds. i asked why it sounded like that and he said "it always sounds like that until i put some oil in it". THAT is the true mentality of Rossi fans. HUGE fans, no brains.
