Oh and just one more question for you nicky, why do you think little Dani won in valencia on the same bike and tyres that you and Pete Benson gave out about on friday practice and saturday qualifying?

I think Hayden was testing a 16" rear tire and Dani was running the 16.5", which in post race testing Hayden swithced back to the 16.5" and ran .9 faster.

R&D should take place on test tracks not in gp races. Rossi's engine failure is another example of a testing gone bad in a race.

These guys are racers let them race, cut the politics, favoritism, and corporate crap that seems to be driving the sport right now.

Nicky was no where in Valencia in warm ups, 1st Qualifying and only when he put the qualifying tyres on he improved, as has happened before for Nicky. He gets a good start then unfortunately goes backwards or gets T boned by Hopper/de Puniet). Pedrosa is half the weight of Nicky so he does not work the tyres the same way.Nicky did 96 laps on the Tuesday, hardest working guy in the paddock!! :p

Agree totally
Dont forget Nicky has had two engines let go.One left pieces all over the track, the other at Phillip Island where he was gaining on Stoner.

i just dont like to hear lads blaming michelins all the time, they really did take the rap this year but just in my opinion i dont think michelin were as bad as everyone said, out of the top ten in the championship there was 6 bridgestones and four michelins and inside that out of the top three there was one bridgestone runner and two michelins, to be honest i think honda themselves are to blame and so are yamaha, they are sore japenese losers and to lose to a little factory in italy is too much for them too accept so they blame some other european company!! obviously it cant be there fault!! but as paul said honda did have engine blow ups and yamaha had problems,

how stupid did yamaha look when they had a litre and a half of fuel left in rossis tank after Qatar??
so just to clear things up for you boys i wasnt slagging off our nicky and completley agree that he is the hardest worker there but just like you said its honda that has the problems and not all michelins fault which nicky has criticised michelin in this interview and not honda, and that was the point of my question, sorry for not making it more obvious for ye!
oh and Gina what do you mean? : )

Rossi had 3 DNF's, so did Pedrosa, while Nicky had 4 DNF's. A couple of these where pilot error, like Vale in Germany, Dani at Japan and Nicky in UK. A De Puniey and Hopper attack for Nicky.Others were all machine failure. You cannot win championships with that kind of record. The weirdest stat is that of Stoner, no crash, machine failure and a lowest finish of 6 when he actually won the championship. Its possible that Stoner may have a year like he did with the LCR Honda. Fast but always in the gravel.

Nobody can never accuse Nicky of a lack of effort. He's a very likeable guy and it really pisses me off when some idiots post really nasty things about him. I hope his luck changes and he he has a really good season next year. :)

Gina - Why do you have to use every thread to slag of Casey Stoner? This is mean't to be about Nicky Hayden, not just another opportunity for you to personally insult Stoner! You really need to loose the attitude and grow up!

Who knows, maybe Gina was in love with Stoner and have been
rejected...
I hope Honda tune the 2008 bike better for Hayden, he had even worse year then Rossi considering Bike performance etc. Interesting the new Hinda is a bit bigger, I hope because Honda trust Hayden more (and they should!).
