Its gotta be frustrating when you're the best/most talented rider on the circuit and essentially relegated to spectator as a result of your sub par bike/tire package. It's true the Yahama has never been the fastest, but it's also true that it's progressively getting worse. The best rider should at least be on competitive equipment....clearly he is not. I hope that Rossi gets his opportunity to put the smack down once again and reclaim what is rightfully his. Yamaha rested on its laurels and the competition blew by em. He's got every right to call em out on it and light a fire under their *****.

Rossi has lot a bit of pacience because, he sees that these guys dont have his skill, like hayden, pedrosa and stoner, yet they are world champions, because of their machinery.
Rossi has been wasting his time developing a bike that doesnt develop in the factory, while winning races and saying that the team has done a great work, and thank you yamaha, bla bla bla...
That didnt worked, so maybe now they spend a bit more money on the bike, he is not arrogant, he is saying a hard truth.

Rossi is a winner and wants to win, everyone in the paddock agrees that the Yamaha, this year, was a dog to ride. I don't blame him for wanting to ride a winning machine I sure as h3ll would ( given the talent ). Rossi has always said he would not go on forever and if he did switch teams in 2009 I would only see him sticking around for another season, or two, at least. No offense to Melandri but given the choice who would you pick for your team ?
I would love to be in Italy if Rossi won on the Ducati.

There is little doubt that Rossi is one of the all time greats, BUT that does not give him the right to think all of MOTOGP revolves around him with his demands for this that and the other. There are now a number of young riders capable of matching or even beating him. Tyres and bikes were never an issue with Rossi in the past, he is starting to sound more and more like Biaggi when he was near the end of his MOTOGP career. Rossi need to get his head down and get on with what he has.

Anyone who thinks Rossi has lost it needs to get their head examined. It doesn't matter how anybody feels about him, he is a proven force, and will be on any team's wish list.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd really love to see him on a green mashine as soon as possible! I think Kawasaki has a lot of potential and Vale could be really fast on the green one...
