Its gotta be frustrating when you're the best/most talented rider on the circuit and essentially relegated to spectator as a result of your sub par bike/tire package. It's true the Yahama has never been the fastest, but it's also true that it's progressively getting worse. The best rider should at least be on competitive equipment....clearly he is not. I hope that Rossi gets his opportunity to put the smack down once again and reclaim what is rightfully his. Yamaha rested on its laurels and the competition blew by em. He's got every right to call em out on it and light a fire under their *****.

You see. This is the reason why I dislike Rossi so much because he wants everything to be perfect. I agree with some of you that Rossi is arrogant and yet people go on about Lorenzo being arrogant. I think Rossi is more than arrogant. He is a selfish ****. Just do your job Rossi and stop complaining. All year round Rossi has done nothing but moaning and complaining about everything is going wrong and what ever not. Shut Up Rossi.

It's very strange how the public now view Rossi. At the peak of his powers everyone loved him. Now he is a figure that splits public opinion. Just look at the postings on crashnet. When I was at Misano for the San marion motogp, I noticed that in many places painted on the perimiter walls of the circuit was the slogan 'Rossi = Gay'. So even in Italy public opinion is split. Personally I think Rossi allowed the press and the public to get to close to him, he should have been a more private figure. The press and the public will always turn. Dani Pedrossa made the statement to the journalist when asked why he was reserved and not like Rossi, his answer.. 'must I be a party clown to win races'.

In all fairness I would like to see him on a factory Ducati with both Malandri and Stoner as team mates. All getting equal machinary, tyres and team support, and let the best man win. If Stoner wins then there's no more excuses from the Rossiettes and perhaps they will give him the credit he deserves, if Malandri wins then fairplay to him, if Rossi wins then respect to the guy. There, can't say fairer than that can I? :)

used to be a fan of all the honda heroes, freddie, gardner, doohan and rossi ... remains a fan of rossi even after he switched to yamaha ... but a statement like this makes me hate this guy, come on rossi, winning/losing is part of the game, but slagging your own team is totally unacceptable ... sound more like biaggi though ... next year I know who I will support ... and it will be Dani Pedrosa ...

So you actually hate riders? You don't even know these people. Rossi is putting pressure on Yamaha and they need it.

Every Racer ever has wanted the best of the best equipment right? but realistacly only a tiny percent ever have the best of the best equipment....this is life, for everbody. To complain, stamp your feet and publicly spit the dummy at your team is low. What he once was he will never be again. When you think all peaple pay to see just you and not the specticle you have fallen up your own ****.

Oh and Gina/Morgue/Gromm you pick Marco and Vale.....your loose twice.

This little corner of the internet has nothing to do with public opinion Jacko,
there are just a few guttermouths around here that are trying to impose their views on people
but in real life they would disappear in the crowd. Fans at motorcycle races are a sportive bunch, thank God.
I know this from experience. Same with the press, they are just our for a scandal.

To Fiona - Rossi wants everything to be perfect? And this is arrogant because....

All the riders out there want everything to be perfect - they all want to win. Vale has something to prove - thats hes not "losing" it etc, that he can win another WC etc. If he feels that he needs something changed or that his team is not providing what he asks for, then he changes it. Hes a racer, he expects the best - like every last racer on the grid. The reason its is picked up on is because he is the best known rider on the grid, and the greatest rider the past few years has seen, if not the greatest ever. He has won Yamaha 2 WC's - he owes them nothing if they cannot come up with a decent package ;)

there are many rossi haters out here.He is the only man in the HISTORY of Moto gp,to have won races at 125cc,250cc,500cc,990cc and 800cc.The man is one of the greatest of all times and people hate him, even though you havent met him. These guys put their lives on the line everytime they ride for our entertainment and all you can do is slag them off.Thats just a sad state of affairs.Rossi to Ducati and then we'll see whose the boss
