Its gotta be frustrating when you're the best/most talented rider on the circuit and essentially relegated to spectator as a result of your sub par bike/tire package. It's true the Yahama has never been the fastest, but it's also true that it's progressively getting worse. The best rider should at least be on competitive equipment....clearly he is not. I hope that Rossi gets his opportunity to put the smack down once again and reclaim what is rightfully his. Yamaha rested on its laurels and the competition blew by em. He's got every right to call em out on it and light a fire under their *****.

The last year Rossi was with Honda and when rumours of Ducati courting him, Livo Suppo in his address to the Ducastista at a dinner before the Sepang MotoGP meet said. "With Rossi it is about the man, but here at Ducati it is about the bike". This year Mr Suppo has made so many exclaimations that the man - Casey Stoner - is fantastic.

Neither side gave in. Now Rossi wants to prove he is the better man on equal machinery. I really do not think Ducati will have him. He made the bed so he has to sleep on it. Granted he has been a true champ he also need to grow up and accept things cannot always go the way he wants.

Gina, You are correct Rossi is still great copy, but now for the wrong reasons. 50% of posts are now opposed to Rossi. 4 years ago 100% of trackside merchandising was Rossi now it's down to about 60%. For 2008 he needs to shut up and start winning. Then and only then will the fans will come back in support of him.

All the positive comments for Rossi are from his fans who believe that by writing positive things they can turn around the decline. Sorry guys but its all over. This years M1 was a damn fine motorsickle but the facts are we just can't ride anymore. We're done. Finished. No good. Over the hill.

wrong jacko.
or you wish. forever-together. not happening jacko. and people know it deep down on a subconscious level: so they have to resist it.
rossi is a proven legend and there is nothing more for him to do: he has done it all - that stoner just had a sniff off.and in a very boring way ( great cure for insomniacs though and that's the positive side of it ) for motogp to regain a meaning it has to become very boring...otherwise we would never enjoy the change.
in half a day - so many resistant souls have risen their voices: so they get moved by moving forces. and when we get tired we need a sleeping remedy: and guess what it may be?
all the races stoner had won last year. easy.

and its not his fault..i never said that. there's nothing wrong in being boring. boring has to temporarily set in before the new development. and can you guess what that might be. well not much longer till march 2008 - the number that doesnt fit in. its ok jacko - you will love it. once rossi starts generously sharing his talent with a huge mass of his fans - you'll be the one that always "knew it". so dont you worry - you'll get your energy back. right now - you're still grogy

that tells you a lot matilda. if it wasnt to rossi you'd be 100% lethargic; otherwise all these adrenalin rushes you get from even ucchio only! amazing matilda - well done!
