Ace27 I am very diappointed in you for failing to mention that young Alex Cudlin is a very talented Yamaha mounted Aussie rider, do you realise up now this subject of night racing at Quatar has had no Aussie bashing, I am sure young Cudlin will handle himself if he is going to replace Rossi in the Yamaha pit for 2009,don't you just get sick of young Aussie riders with talent, perhaps with all the Aussie riders riding in MotoGp, perhaps it should become the Australian National Championship.
Not much trouble to change #46 to #66.

Personally if it is AC then great..those that are fimilar with his work will chime in, those that are'nt will (except Morgue/Gromm/Gina) will either not comment or be silly about it and there WAY too much of that here.....

Alex Cudlin is great! Races Endurance, they know how to drive at night!
Pity his bike broke down when in 6th place at the Bol d'Or.
The more Aussies the better I say, bring them on.
number 66 is bad luck in MotoGp though, it didn't do the other Alex much good...

Hi Morgue, you say #66 is bad luck, young Alex Cudlin don't need luck he has the ability. He hails from a town call Taree which is just up the road from Kurri Kurri where Casey Stoner lives must be something in the water that make them so good.
Of course his bike broke down, thats why Yamaha are interested in him replacing Rossi he didn't slag the bike. You say "the more Aussie's the better" he does have a brother who is a good rider perhaps he would go to MotoGp to build up the Aussie numbers.Mick Fanning has just won the "World Championship" for surfing perhaps he may have a run at MotoGp when they "flood the track with 20inches of water" Aussies, Aussies everywhere all winners

I work in Saudi and have been to every Qatar Motogp and enjoyed them all, 15 pounds for three days in the stands, good value!!. Next year should be very interesting but I will only be going for the race day this time as what can you do all day in Qatar while waiting for the evening to come!!

What about my camels??? All that racket keeping them awake to Allah knows when.

Seriously what is the program going to be? Will all classes run at night? If they do and all practice sessions are held under lights (as they should be) then the last race of the day (night?) will be finishing in the early hours of the morning. Allah forbid rain delays, red flags, restarts etc etc...

Seems if you want to get a step-up on the motogp ladder, being friends with Casey Stoner is a major plus on your CV... See Chaz Davies... Yes I am a brit and should support him, seems like a nice guy too, but be honest, what has he acheived? Toseland is WSB champ and he scraped a Tec 3 ride. Davies hasn't done anything of not yet got to ride a Ducati... cos he is friends with Stoner... Load A Bollox in my opinion...

Good point fatherly, being caseys friend doesn't automatically make you fast.
