Trigg , Colin has enthusiasm as Tech 3 saved his GP career and Colin couldn't gripe about the Yamaha as he was never fast enough.
James , has yet to ride it ?
When another rider is as quick on the M1 as Rossi then perhaps we can criticise him but until then give the lad a break.... remember 7 times champion in the GP series by age 26 is bloody incredible and if his bike is competitive he will be battling for wins.

Ofcourse this is no top equipment, everybody knows that.
But Guintoli showed what you can do with determination and enthusiasm (and a bag full of qualifiers)
so I see no reason why James couldn't. Edwards can be his tyre matey and show him the way at the new tracks,
in the pitbox they can talk WSBK over a cup of tea :)
Sounds cosy, doesn't it? Hervé brings the baguettes and French cheese, they'll have a nice afternoon out on sundays ;)

And James didnt know who was happier that he entered motogp: him or his mum - that had tears in her eyes
Cute, aye?

Very sweet, a bit like Edwards and Rossi coming together at Yamaha,
they knew eachother from the Suzuka 8 hours. A good feeling in the team always helps,
nothing beats endorphin ;)

what colin edwards really meant: "hey, i'm content with puttering around in 12th place all the time. i don't have any real desire to win. i'll just keep being a nice guy, taking a back seat to other racers and hope that somebody will pay me for my lackluster performance."

edwards? dirtbag - have you any observation skills? edwards is quite honest, and is very straightforward and doesnt grease up anybody's *** so to appear "nice" ; the fact that he didnt do much winning definitely doesnt relate to his lack of desire.

Ace27 is right indeed. But everything is relative in this world. If Toseland can be happy riding in second ten - go ahead. Can't see him in first ten unless there is some major disaster with frontrunners.

Yeah Ace27, 13th would be a good result for King James  Lets cast an eye over the last 2 WSBK champions who have graced us in the MotoGP paddock.

Colin Edwards and Troy Bayliss. Both riders came to the series and have ridden good bikes and have done bugger all. Edwards had the advanatge on the world championship winning Yamaha as well. Both these riders were outstanding the years they won thier titles and were the best riders in the field, a step above everyone else.

James first title was won through plodding around the race track, on the factory Ducati, won because his dominate team mate was a crasher, Could not back up the following year, 07 was a joke and full of luck.
