Yes.
Do you really want to judge a rider on his first 29 laps ?

here here Ducman1098R, I'm going for James too... the guy has a major point to prove and takes his racing very seriously. One thing is for sure, he will be giving it 100% every minute of every race. Those ****** on here that dismiss his victory this year in WSB are fools

My money is (or would be, if I were a betting man) on Jorge. Second choice Andrea. ;)

How does everyone think Toseland did today. Only 1 second off Lorenzo after only 29 laps at an unfamiliar track. Not bad.
One thing i did notice and that Dovi is already on the pace of the Moto gp boys whereas Lorenzo is still a second off the pace. For Lorenzo,is it the difficulty of the Yamaha which is causing this slow progress??
Come on Toseland and Bradley Smith :)

I think he did a swell job, on a drying track that is difficult to learn.
The 800 Honda seems to be friendly to Dovi and Randy de Puniet ;)
All times are still way off the pace of last seasons race though...

who's judging him morgue ? i'm toseland through and through and think he will destroy edwards this year. i struggle with colin's lack of ambition - the guy is only 33 and you can see he's given up already. he's basically a test rider this year.

hopefully james for rookie of the year and a top six finish, but it will be tough on the yam

It will be very tough indeed, however Guintoli did some nice things on it so we'll see.
I was surprised to see Edwards riding in the Fiat gear outfit on what seems to be his old bike,
shouldn't he be sporting Tech 3 stuff? or is that in the new year?
All the other ones are riding neutral stuff.
Anyway, I think James couldn't have wished for a better partner on the tracks I think,
loads of experience and a pace that may be a good focuspoint for him (at first).
(and lots of laughs) :)

James, James, James.......

Time on the bike plus
A decent bike,
Better tyres,
Better team,
A teammate who is motivated and will provide a challenge to beat,
A touch more talent,
And a truck load of luck

And Mister Softly - he'll be lucky to finish top 10,

Rossi will get rookie of the year. Dorna will give it to him when he starts squaking about going to WRC/F1/A1GP/BTCC as an offering to keep him in Motogp after he finishes FOURTH in 2008. Justification will be that he hasn't raced on Bridgestones in MotoGP before, therefore it's his rookie season.

Oh and in front of him will be Pedrosa, Stoner, Hayden & Melandri in pretty much that order.

Why - because Honda will build a much better machine for 2008 and the Ducati will carry forward it's 2007 performance plus a little more. Michelin will also improve Honda's tyres by a long way.

Everybody needs more time on the bike.....so is this a prelude to a "behind the eightball scenario.
Its OK to learn a track by following, but eventually you have to develope your owns lines.

Andrea will slaughter ALL noobs on his Ducati.

King Toe will never amount to anything on that bike.

Silvan will be the suprise feel good hit of the season
