If you have had any real experience I would think your evaluations would be quite different. Oh by the way I am a up and coming racer who understands the dynamics of setting up suspension, honing racing skills and the overall package and what it takes to be competitive at just the club level, let alone the premier class MOTOGP ;)
what works today on track may not work tomorrow consider track temp, tires and all the other elements before you make unwarranted comments ;)

Well chew on that you self proclaimed experts  and try to come back with some descent comments please

SBK riders always get near enough to the times set by motogp riders (eventually), but it is the last 0.5 of a second that is the difficult part. SBK riders always ride within a safety zone on bikes, whereas motogp bikes are prototypes and can be pushed that little bit further. Most SBK riders agree that it is this last step that takes the most time. Ask bayliss, edwards, hodgson, ellison, it may take half a season to be fully on the pace (edwards still has not fully closed this gap).

Still i'm no expert, just what SBK riders have said in the past.

Crarrs, you are an idiot. Have you ever considered that JT has had good rides because he's so highly rated by the top teams? I have known him since he started racing and he certainly did not have everything handed to him on a plate. He worked damn hard to win the GB500 cup, riding for a private team that paid for everything themselves. The same team took him into 600SS and again it was a struggle, racing out of the back of a van and scraping to afford a decent set of tyres for the race. His then manager, Mick Corrigan, told me right at the start that JT was a future world champion and he was right, but it certainly has not been easy.

Can someone explain to me why it is that we have a Double World Champion in JT, the only British representative in MotoGP and all people can do is complain about his choice of team and the fact that on his first day in, lets face it, a new job he wasn't quite as quick as the more experienced riders.
However, as soon as we stick 11 men on a field with a football, the entire country starts wearing red, white and blue stipes on their faces and driving around with red and white flags on their cars in an attempt at patriotism!!! I'd love to see a footballer get up again after bouncing along the tarmac!!

James, you are a great guy and you will do your country proud, both on & off the track!!

Carrs, you really should know what you're talking about before you open your mouth and confirm what an idiot you are.
1. JT did the double at Brands Hatch this year.
2. He's NOT had everything handed to him on a plate (don't know where you get that from)
he's had to work damn hard to get where he is.
3. HM Plant have never fielding JT in WSBK. Ten Kate Honda did. And Ducati have FAR better factory support in WSBK. Honda wouldn't even give them traction control!
4. Yeah, he rode for Ducati in his 1st championship and beat a French rider in FRANCE to clinch it!
5. Need I go on? Oh yeah, so just who else developed that CBR he rode this year then?

Go back to school!

Hi guys,
I was there, in sepang, close to James. I just can tell you that he is a very clever rider. He knows what to do at the right time. He never rode before at Sepang, so he had the track to learn instead of being crazy on the bike. I trust him and I think also that Yamaha will improve a lot. The combination will work, for sure.
And the bonus is that James (appart of being a good rider) is a very very nice guy.
Cheerse from france. ;)

HM Plant is JT's personal sponsor now.

i trust JT s ability. I just dont trust Yamaha's.

Both JT and JL have nothing to prove as riders. BUt look the laptimes of dovi on the honda ... Yamaha needs to get a f grip already. They have the slowest bike in MGP period

Well, you're not wrong there Chu. The Yamaha is probably the bike that needs to improve the most out of the whole paddock (KR bikes aside).
