And it never was when Rossi was winning? Bull***** That guy had so many advantages handed to him it was ridiculous!

Michelin wins for 40 years straight, it's cool.
Bridgestone wins one year, change the rules.

Honda wins for several years in a row with Rossi on board, it's exciting.
Honda wins with Hayden on board, change the rules.
Ducati wins one year with Stoner on board: PLEASE CHANGE THE RULES!!!!!

Rossi wins for 5 years, it's Rossi and exciting.
Hayden and Stoner win for two years, it's boring, it's the bike, it's the tires, change the rules.

C'mon... Get a grip.

MOTOGP » Edwards explains Schumacher speed.

How did Michael Schumacher lap just five seconds slower than the MotoGP lap record?

No one asked for rule changes after 2006, the racing was great in 2006.

For some Michelin riders, but not all of them. ;) And only for part of the season. It's part of racing.

I thought this story was about Schumachers speed, the reason is simple, HE'S A FAST GUY!, Rossi's pretty quick in a rally car. Hailwood, Surtess, Hill and a lot of others where fast on bikes and cars, its all about skill :)

There were lots of retired riders there that day too, like Criville, Schwantz, Gardner and Mamola as well as Gerhard Berger. Would be good to know what times these guys did in comparison to MS.

Come on guys - wise up. Rossi (and presumably many other riders/teams) employ people to spread their word, do their PR, probably write on these threads. Rossi's bike isn't 15 mph slower, but it can be made to look like that if needs be!! Remember believe nothing that you read and only half of what you see and you won't go far wrong. :)

So when Rossi was blown away down the straight by Stoner in China and it was filmed from the Helecopter for all to see, this was a deliberate ploy to make us feel sorry for Rossi. How would this be done? Computer generated images? Please.

You Rossie fans are slow learners. Your always trying to come up with bull**** to justify the fact why your man is loseing face the facts he's past it, the new guns are coming through sure enough he has lost the unfair tyre advantage he has had over the years and rightly so. In the past getting special hand made tyres overnight has hardly been fair to the rest of the riders, Bridgstone has spent the last 6 years developing their tyres they deserve their title and as for Stoner just try and catch him next year.AS for the rest of the young guns Petrosa ,Hayden ,Melandrithey will take it right up to him should be a great year

Way to stay on topic folks...

Anyway, There's no doubting Shumacher is an excellent pilot on/in any machine he takes control of, but 5 seconds off the best in the world on a GP bike? It's a sure sign that electronics are (capable of) providing excessive hand-holding on these bikes. If they were to bring the 990 to the track the same day for a comparo, Schumacher would be right back were he was...12-15 seconds back. It's sad really, from a fans perspective. You can't tell who's truly the best anymore. There's always that ? mark of what aids this or that bike has. Hell, Mamola said he was told the 800 Duc has a gyroscope on it! Somebody save this series please.
