chu said: "but the chship was clearly influenced big time by tyre and bike differences"

And it never was when Rossi was winning? Bull***** That guy had so many advantages handed to him it was ridiculous!

Michelin wins for 40 years straight, it's cool.
Bridgestone wins one year, change the rules.

Honda wins for several years in a row with Rossi on board, it's exciting.
Honda wins with Hayden on board, change the rules.
Ducati wins one year with Stoner on board: PLEASE CHANGE THE RULES!!!!!

Rossi wins for 5 years, it's Rossi and exciting.
Hayden and Stoner win for two years, it's boring, it's the bike, it's the tires, change the rules.

C'mon... Get a grip.

Not an F1 fan in the slightest, but, MotoGP could learn alot from the banning of electronics & maybe even giving the bikes standard issue ECU's. The only variables should be Chassis, Rider & tyres.....

Flamminni has already mentioned he wont hesitate to ban or limit electronicd if there is a season in sbk like this last season in moto gp. Dorna will move too. This is killing the racing

Only being devils advocate, but surely MotoGP is a prototype class where the manufacturers get to develop stuff that one day might end up on road bikes, the big four are'nt going to like the organisers telling them what they can't develop and may well say 'up yours were off'

Even if it is prototype & manufacturers can develope what they want etc etc, doesn't matter what it is if it's boring racing & nobody's watching it & Wsbk more interesting to watch (like the season just gone)

On the 990 Honda stoner crashed his brain's out all year and that had low tc. As for ducati 800 it has been stated many times it had the best tc. i think the move to 800s handed the title to ducati.
Honda played it safe and lack of power cost them also not support there third party teams. Yamaha didnt really change much and it cost them big time.

i think ducati will win again next year!

i dont think Honda or Yamaha have the time to build a good package for next year.
i would really like to ride the ducati 10 years of doing track days in uk & spain.
Could any rider off the street get under 5secs i really wonder!

I am getting a bit tired of the argument that TC is helping Stoner so much and that lack of TC made him crash so much last year. Maybe you have not been looking, but Stoner's main crash point was corner entry loosing the front. That has **** all to do with traction control, and all to do with lousy front end grip (bike geometry, suspension, tyres).
There is a reason why Honda allowed a sattelite team to Switch from Showa (Honda owned) to Öhlins (Yamaha owned) next year and why Rossi wants Bridgestones. Front end feel and grip.

Rossi only last year claimed how great TC was on his Yamaha, that it had different settings for worn tires etc. Don't be such hypocrites.
