Interesting. He is fit enough to compete in a WRC car, but not fit enough to be spending his time testing and trying improve the Yamaha that he has whinged about all season???
Priorities seem all wrong here. Glad I'm not paying his salary.

Love you too 2127 ;)
There are surely some people who'd dearly like to see him fail Nigel but I'm not sure if you can actually
draw conclusions from the 'behavior' of tyres on another bike. The Bridgstones seem to work quite well on the Kawasaki
also an inline four but Rossis riding style can be a bit more tyre consuming.
We will see.

Hawkeye, Kawi is not producing a "2008" bike, they are continuing to evolve the 2007.

Yep! My mistake GreenEnvy 22. Looks like they have a bit more to come from the 2007 bike then.

sorry morgue i must say that comment ws not reflected at you!! : ))
jes.. guy no its not jh even though i do hope he can help show the true potential of the kwaker, and that also interestingly enough replys to morgues comments on the green thing, i honestly believe that bike in 2007 was one of the best out there the just couldnt tidy up all the small adjustments to show how good it was, i definitley think its a better bike than the yamaha and a great decision to keep same bike for next year, thier not bitting off more than they can chew!

It can go both ways, if there is enough potential in the Kawa to let it 'grow' by putting new parts in/on it then ok,
there's also the possibility that theri development grinds to a halt like this.
If Honda and Yamaha make the step they are supposed to make then Kawa will be fighting with Suzuki for the 'fourth best factory in the field'. I personally think their rider line-up for 2008 is not good enough to break through (will possibly get flak over this again...). Hopkins hasn't been there yet and West is new too. Both are sub-top IMO.
They'd do better to hire a bloke of the calibre of Melandri (or even Hayden), they have been on the top step a couple of times and know how it feels up there

Morgue,
I certainly agree & it seems to me as if most have the idea that the bike & rossi are over the hill, as I said above maybe they will be praying that's the case.

I'm going to be watching the qualifying with great interest because there is gonna be some serious focus on the Rossi pit 2moro, it will be interesting to see just how good/bad the 07 bike was on what I beleive was by far the best rubber on the grid the Bridgestone tyre.

One thing I hope Yamaha have finaly sorted is this problem with power/Fuel, because apparently it's not the engine that's lacking in grunt it's getting the thing to the finishing line without running out of fuel once the powers unleashed.

True champion racers like Schumi and Rossi will be competitive quickly racing in or on anything.

hey Gizmo - which Gina are you asking? coz harrys and other wannabes have adopted my name, but its all recognizeable to whoever can notice..
so we can talk about rossi's injuries: did he break a finger nail as well?
that one not so important as the carpals and related ligaments esp in relation to the ulnar styloid . and again not so important to you in general...
why ask if you have no idea what it means?
Gizmo - its all healing well and fast boosted with a healthy life and nutrition; most improtantly - marked with a victory and many to come : FYI

Hey Up Gina, I am new to this forum how do I know who is who, you are saying that somebody can be credited or de-credited using your ID from a different email address if this the case I believe I will soon be credited with posting that don't belong to me, all sounds a bit iffy. "Why ask" its the only way to learn things.Glad to hear you are on the mend keep up the healthy life style and nutrition. There must be some code to find out if it is really you or somebody that wants to be you imitation is is a rewarding complement
