LisaLesVegas, Rossi proved the point this year. He sure is competitive in or in anything, 3rd in this years championship confirmed that. You have to wonder why he switched to Bridgestone tyres?

Guys I think you will find the english Rossi groupies will jump ship in the near future. They all seem to think, the next great hope from England is in Motogp. Maybe when Rossi gets his butt kicked again in 08, they will no longer adopt him as Part English, part Italian.

Real fans don't jump ship.

Bash Rossi all you want haters, He's STILL KING and will always be as far as I'm concerned. EVERY year, he's a force to be reckoned with! Bad bike or not! As long as he races, there will be enough gray hairs from all the other racers to go around! Long live the KING!

Your guys are dreaming if you think rossi has any chance in 2008. Stoner is not going to get slower. I think Rossi should spend more time developing the bike and stop winging about it. It easy to wind championships on the fastest bike which hes had since doohan got off it, and when he finally doesnt have it and he has to fight like EVERYBODY ELSE its all the bikes fault. Stick to developing the bike and stop winging.

as about you asking questions - the answer is YES and NO ; if you ask questions that lead to a non important answer - then i guess why ask?

Hey morgue and Nigel since you are seemingly the most reasonable aside for a few others I got something for you too think about. Yamaha's frame was too rigid last year and the brigdestones have more grip. I predict they will have too deal with the chatter and make the frame with more flex right away after that it will pretty much smooth sailing for him to further develop the 08 watch and see if we don't have some upset folks around here bashing the MAN.....

What do you call his 2004 season Adam? Was the Honda not faster than him that year? It was. Keep in mind that these bikes get better and better, faster and faster. The Yamaha hasn't so much. Below is some things I said on another thread and I think they fit here as well. Keep in mind, this just MY views on things so, I hope I don't offend anyone..........

Rossi is the greatest! I know may be a cliche but, ooh well. He's proven it over and over again. If you think I'm lying, ask Max, ask Sete, ask Nicki, ask Stoner. Yeah, yeah he lost to Nicki last year but, where was Nicki THIS year and where was Rossi? Yes, Stoner beat him but, who was that right behind him in points up to the last of the season this season? Hmmmmm could it be Rossi? I think so. On a bike that was 15-20kmph slower according to Rossi. I can understand people wanting to give Casey credit because he does in fact deserve it but, to call Rossi over the hill and say he doesn't have it anymore??? WOW! Continued below...
