Who knows he might go even better this year, I hope Marco learns the bike bloody quick or else I can see Casey destroying every rider in every session in every round. I really think he's gonna be another superstar. Of course I believe the bike is the "best", but it looks like you've got to be one hell of a rider to wring it's neck and get the most out of it. I still don't understand how people can doubt this guy's class? :?

MOTOGP » Stoner fastest on GP8 debut.

Casey Stoner's inaugural outing on the Ducati Desmosedici GP8 proved a profitable one, with the new MotoGP world champion finishing the first day of the Jerez test on top of the timesheets.

Yeah - we just need George and Osama to start following motogp. Though the concept of round and round the track and first past the chequered flag wins just might be a little too much for George to comprehend

Apoligies for bringing politics into it - no offence intended towards any americans.

waltz- we 'mericans take no offense to anti George sentiments... we're too embarassed... like all the race fans on here that bought into the pre-season testing last year and thought Colin and Vale would walk away with it... Colin- "there's no reason we can't go one and two this year ('07)"... we're so dumb, we re-elected him, or so we're told

Hey KWTaxi - Hang in there buddy, he'll be gone next year. I always found it funny how George pronounced American as 'merkin - when he says stuff like "it makes me proud to be a 'merkin". I looked up what merkin means - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkin - George you couldn't have put it better even if you had tried. :)

yea, he's the falsest clam beard I ever did see... and the clam's surely smarter... I had an old GF who worked with a woman who had merkins for all the various holidays, Christmas, Halloween, Easter... guess she didn't need one for Presidents' Day
