MOTOGP » Stoner's year ends with injury.

Casey Stoner's title-winning year has come to a painful conclusion after the Ducati Marlboro star was injured during his second high-speed accident in as many days at Jerez.

Well if Stoner does fail, he can read here and use some of the poor excuses the Rossi groupies have used over the past 8 months.

Maybe Bridgestone are favoring Rossi, Yamaha traction control is better than Ducati, the GP08 Ducati is built for Melandri.

It is a end of season test, where they are looking at new bits on the bike. I would not look to far into the test times so far.

Hey guess who, If it is a repeat of 06, then I guess Hayden will become a double world champion. That would mean that your fallen idol misses out again. Boy will that be a bitter pill for some fans to swallow. Better hope Toseland fairs better, or the lemmings might walk off the cliffs of dover. ;)

First of all it is testing before the testing ban, while it is beneficial its not the be all end all. Secondly you are all jumping to conclusions way to quickly about Stoner. He might have crashed yeah, but everyone of those quick times except for Hayden and Rossi were qualifiers. Stoner still has had the 2nd fastest time on race tires for the two days he has participated in, and lead yesterday. Thirdly, it isn't the bike, he lost rear grip on a new Bridgestone race tire, and flew off on his first flying lap. It was unexpected, it isn't as if he made a mistake. Your all jumping the gun, and speculating when your not paying attention to the facts of what is going on.

I hope Casey is not to badly hurt and will recover over the next weeks.
Being ruled out by injury is not funny, things should be decided on the track, not in the sick bay.

guess who,

from your comments, I had you picked as a Rossi lemming and not a race fan. I still find it very hard to believe after some of your Stoner comments. It is you are happy to see anyone win the championship, besides Stoner? If that is the case it makes you a bitter and twisted Englishman. Mate, when you see bluebirds you know your close to the edge. :p

It's good to see Rossi's times on Bridgestone are up, it looks positve going into testing next year. Testing also looks good for Dani, you would think the Honda is looking good for 2008 and it will be a bumper season.

Guess who

Just to add to my comments, I would have thought a true race fan would be happy to see the best package win, I have to question your comments on rider personality. When has that been important to winning a championship? Going off your views I guess you did not follow racing for around 5 years in the 90's, when Mick Doohan was king. He lacked a little in the personality dept as well.

Mate I am sitting on a shetland pony compared to you.

let me see, 1992 was when the great #34 won it, i can remember that far back just, maybe you can get of your shetland and look up #34 on google and find out who it was and write another lame posting.and yes i agree doohan was boring too, who wants to watch someone go and clear of, we want racing.personality is important as it adds to the show that we pay our hard earned money to watch not all of us sit at a computer all our lives!!!

Guess who

1992 you just remember it and watching Kevin Schwantz. I would have never picked it, did mum let you out of the pram.

1992, I remember it as well. I rode my 1990 GSXR750 to Eastern Creek and watched Mick Doohan, flog Kevin Swantz by 30 odd seconds. I had a great afternoon that day, pity I could not get on the drink as I had to ride home.

Guess who, I thought Kevin won the championship in 1993 as Wayne Rainey won it in 92 after Mick Doohan almost lost his leg.

Your poor personal attacks on me, prove you to be the sore loser Rossi fan.

Stoner is feeling the pressure, but more importantly he is trying to dominate everything! way to early in the season to be falling off so fast twice in 2 days. as u all say it is only testing why push for a lap time when it means nothing, much better to test and improve slowly.
Stoner thinks the Doohan way is how it is done, but it is not any kind of phycological blow he tried to put on Dani/Rossi has now backfired and it is now on him, wait for Rossi to say " ita isa soo easyy to goa fasta ona thosa bridgeastona tierss!".& dont come up with the 'Tyre' let go, Rossi had this all last year & we all got bored wid it, Stoner rightly poo poo'd him.. but the door swings both way's tried 2 hard
