One thing I notice and admire about Champions like Rossi and Michael Schumacher is their humble assessment of a situation and their gratitude towards the team. I hope both Rossi and Stoner recover before next test.

After being an impressive second fastest on only his second day with Bridgestone tyres, Valentino Rossi slipped to eleventh after a painful end to 2007 at Jerez on Thursday.

A comment made by Burgess in 06: sometimes for some tracks it is better to use a softer compound tire as this reduces spin up and doesn't wear a quick as the harder compound tire, perhaps Yamaha are looking at a more torquey motor thus reducing spin up and increasing fuel consumption, but whatever they are looking at they best hurry.

Maybe they should even go back to their 5 valve technology to get the characteristic
and economy they are looking for.

Think he is a fantastic guy too.
His attitude to biking can serve as an example : pretty mature - doesnt lose his temper - the racing is more important : very good with Toseland- a real team mate - has been to Rossi too and would be to other riders :)

He would be better off without the earring and clown antics. The great sense of humour is nullified by such antics.

I think it is now right for him to start the new season with a new image. A more serious demeanor, while still retaining the friendly disposition. The would show to the world that he means business, that he is to fight to the finish to regain the crown.

I don't agree Grromm,
he is as serious as ever about racing and more motivated than anyone on the grid.
His style and composure is just as he has always been, straightforward and charismatic.
He won a golden helmet (Caschi d'Oro) in Italy recently, yet you won't see him wear shirt and tie, he has his own style :) :)

I'd be happy too if I was Edwards - getting paid a wad full of dollars for flying all over the world racing 'motorsickles' and not having anything like the same level of pressure to win like Rossi, Stoner and Pedrosa. Sure beats the hell out of doing a normal job.

Hey! I am the real, genuine, authentic Grromm. You may assume that name anyway. It's not copyrighted by me, or anyone else for that matter. Unless another person comes up with some evidence that the name's his 'registered trademark'. By the way, it is very credulous that you're an Aussie, as you claim, unless the Aussies disown you.
