melandri is very cool. every time in the past - seeing him win would be some kind of relieving pleasure..he so deserves it! not to mention moments like being on the podium with a broken ankle after racing with it...
partner had similar injury in a road race ( fractured talus tho ) - can be pretty serious - ankle fractures - extremely painful bearing all the weight on it and action of that joint...
