2007 was a snorefest, I don't care if you cut and paste all the 'action' together into a compact television programme,
it still doesn't make it exciting. It was hours of hanging about and nosepicking and seeing a sport go to the dogs.
If you get off on consistency that's your right, I want to see racing. We are being led to believe that watching midgets on
electronically controlled downsized racers is the same as watching battles of heroes of a bygone era, like Schwantz and Rainey.

Hi wack am a brit but whats your beef? I was at Donnington and did not boo or shake my rattle at him. He won the 2007 title easy and did everything right as far as i could tell. But would be nice to see a bit more elbows and knees for 2008

Gsxrman, I think that Wack is having a little "pop" at the 990 fan (Ducati?!) for stating that Casey won't win anything again. Marco failing to post at LEAST 1 fast lap while trying different setups seems unreal as this all adds to Casey being the real deal as another known talent has been exposed as struggling. But it is just testing and we don't know exactly what they are testing, and never will be told either!
Alot of Rossi Cheerleaders are English and thats why I think he made the statement about "boo's and rattles" at Donnington.

Sounds about right but i love GP for the racing, would not like 2008 to go the way 2007 went? One team wins all lets hope we see more elbows and knees and a good old scrap, stoner is a talent ne seems to be made for the duke. But it gets boring watching the red machine win all the races?

Wack Attack, that is the first sensible comment I have heard in any of the Motogp topics discussed on this website. Every rider that makes it to the pinnacle of the premier class (or any of the classes for that matter) deserves some respect and admiration. We can all have our favourites but what need is there to critizise their opponents ?

We all hope for a speedy recover by Stoner, improved performance by Rossi, a huge comeback by Hayden and maybe even a new world champion in 2008.

I just watched the Eurosport 2007 season review and guess what? It wasn't boring at all. There was some great races. Rossi just had his backside well and truly kicked by a fantastic new talent. Lets hope that Casey Stoner and al the other riders make it to the start of the 2008 season fighting fit. We could be in for a classic motogp season.

Great news that Casey is on the mend. The very best riders all compete just as much with personal injury/fitness as with any on track racing... In Australia we call it the 'Tall Poppie Syndrome' those who mock success, sad people they are indeed!
Casey is the real deal of that there can be no denial.

The challenge in motor racing is to have a consistently front running machine race after race, then a consistent rider who can deal with the pressure and variable weather conditions as well as overcome machine mechanical deficiencys. In 07 Ducati/Stoner were the class of the field and it showed so if they can continue to produce the same momentum will be contesting a second title in 08. ;)

Great news. Hoping all riders are fit for 2008 and bring on an exciting season!! As for British fans booing Casey at Donington-the reason for the booing was because he refused to sign autographs at Day of Champions because he "wasnt allowed to", while most of the other riders did. I personally think there should be some sort of "Meet and Greet" for fans after the Friday practise, because if it wasnt for the fans, MotoGP wouldnt be what it is. :)

Morgue face the facts your simply just a disgruntled clown groupie..... please stop whinging its boring! If clown boy had run away with the title would it still be a snore fest hmmmm???

A true Moto GP enthusiast appreciates the nature of the sport... The rules are the same for everyone! I think maybe its time for you to consider a new spectator sport like golf or tennis ;)
