are we all so lobotomised in thinking that youth is all that counts ? Do artists have to stop painting, or making music just cos they are 28 ? Why can't riders saty for as long as they feel fit enough to do so ? isn't troy bayliss still able to kick most riders, even if aged 38 ? Didn't he win a MotoGP race at 36 ?
It's only the media circus that wants you to believe a champ is out when older than 26...

and I have 2 college degrees to prove this but, I will say that there are people out there who know more about motorcycles, racing ETC..... than me and YOU but, what I've stated here are MY opinions. You are NO DIFFERENT from me Parker, in the fact that you only post your own opinions here so, I apologized earlier for ripping you on posting your opinions but, don't dare call someone uneducated you when you don't know them. If I'm wrong on something here, correct me, prove me wrong and go on about your own little fairy way. Ooh yeah, it's PROMISE not PROMISED. Soooo much for saying I'm not uneducated! LOL!

Laterrus, appology accepted. I think we need to accept that there will always be a disparity between machinery. After all it is prototype racing. I still believe that the rider makes the biggest difference. Rossi has always claimed this and has proved it in the past with his switch to Yamaha. This year it was proved by Stoner flogging the other Ducati riders. Stoner was a great rider in 2007. Rossi has been a great rider for many years. Their careers can not be compared because one is at the beginning and the other is somewhere between the middle and the end (no offence intended). All I ask is that Stoner be given the credit that he deserves for a first class effort and result in 2007.

Rossi and Rossi groupies are 2 different things. I thought this was plain as day!
2004? Umm, I have missed maybe 3 or 4 races since 1987! 2004 first race of season in South Africa was unbelievable. Proved that Rossi was and is unbelievably awesome. Please don't act like you know my history with the sport!!!!
Our comments are opinion. duh! Both your posts are littered with "facts" as you see them so where do you get off on telling me this is my exclusive problem?
Comments about Rossi having the best equipment is not a comment against Rossi's talent unlike comments about Stoner having the best equipment which has every intent on devaluing Stoners talent and you know it!

I'd like to think that it'd be easier to win on the best machinery than it is to win on machinery that isn't the best but, I've heard of a guy who has been able to win on both in the past........ Hmmmmm? Boy, I'd sure like to know his name.

Here's to Rossi winning more races next season, because when he isn't winning - he isn't gloating. And when he's not gloating, his personality just doesn't seem all that different to the other riders.

Yes the difference is pretty obvious around here its deffientely the true enthusiasts vs the rossi groupies. Big difference between rossi fans and the rossi groupies is the groupies ongoing negativity toward Stoner. They are obviously younger and new to the sport and they do not understand/appreciate/respect the sports history and politics let alone what occured pre-rossi era in the 500 Grand Prix. Beyond all else they have no reponse to anything technical or any logical reasoning why others do not perform as Stoner can on the 07 Ducati.... And thats how you tell groupies from the rest!

Watch em all vanish mysteriously if rossi does not perform as they hope in 08 ;)

And the clown 'groupies' (NOT FANS) are the ones who keep going on about personality???? as if Moto GP is a friggen American Idol talent contest? Its a joke listening to the seriously lame BS about robots or lack of 'personality' please give me a brake of anyone other than rossi! If dunny diving, ten pin bowling, waving and standing on the pegs is what you look forward too and makes your day and is the difference between why you follow any given rider in this sport? what will you do when rossi retires I have to ask :?

Marty. You've explained the difference between a "Rossi Fan" and a "Rossl Groupie". Now, what is the difference between a "Stoner Fan" and a "Stoner Groupie". From where I'm sitting it looks pretty much the same.
